But when your so set on making sure you want to come out of this alive, it's awesome to see that their not ready to die just yet and love to live.

Jin has been critically depressed since Tekken 4. He's gone through a rabbit hole so bad it made him suicidal with capital letters. Something as simple as hearing him say, "I want to live!" made me almost tear up.
I almost cried as well, Devil, Jun, Xiayou, friends... they all helped him become a better man, and he wanted it so badly it's truly spectacular. As always, Japanese know how to move hearts. I'm glad that I mained both Jin and Devil Jin, and the story is just a great tribute to players like me.
@to2wacze612 he does tho, majority of his "friends" are actually more like rivals and the only person that isn't his mom that actually really likes him is Xiaoyu :v
Jin and Kazuya erasing their demi god powers so they could fight as "mere" humans was the best way to end this game, in my opinion. Just two men driven by a singular drive of survival beating the absolute shit out of each other, pushing to the absolute limit of their ability until one folds. This is peak TEKKEN and what has made me fall in love with this series in the first place.
Neither of them backed down, both continued fighting even with their devil forms gone. Normally we would have their true form, see a epic fight and it would end. In this, we see their true form, see a epic fight, and they STILL continue to fight as normal form, and then ended there. A formula I did not expect for it to exist.

Suicide is never the answer, but the final boss fight in the story here IS THAT fucking inspriational though. Jin dealing with depression, fighting his inner demons, trying to find a way out to end the torment, but he being the sole individual to be able to stop Kazuya with multiple martial arts under his belt...seeing Jin say "I DON'T GIVE A FUCK AS LONG AS MY FRIENDS ARE THERE FOR ME, SO WILL I" and being able to stand up to Kazuya literally is the greatest moment in the franchise's history. You, me, and everyone else reading this comment can all share this moment with you that "HELL FUCKING YEA THIS MOMENT WAS FUCKING AMAZING". It sounds a bit bleak here for a moment, but what if you made a mistake earlier and didn't get to witness this ending? This game's ending was enough for me to curb any possibility of going in that direction and saying to myself "imagine taking myself out without being able to see the expansion of THIS story." Like I said before, suicide is never the answer. I'm glad you got to witness this without making a terrible mistake beforehand. This is one that will go down in the history books.

@@Hymn_it’s just by far the weakest release of the huge franchises that have come out in the past year. SF6 drastically innovated on the SF formula with a really unique system, Tekken added the heat system, a monumental task for a 3D traditional fighter. And so far, it seems well balanced and characters all interact with it uniquely. MK1’s Kameos just don’t hold a candle to them, they’re effectively an assist/special move you can call with each different one, which has been done better in other games.
The entire final fight was literally just peak fighting game! You and your opponent pushing one another to your pure limits, and even after you went to "supposedly" weaker forms, the fight does not end yet! Infact, the fight will only keep going even harder, until only one, or even neither, is left standing. The way you fought from a ritual cavern, to a meteor in space, down to the ground again too! With the final arena having tornado's and an endless rainstorm in the back, and still buring from the meteorite. All of that just formed the most awesome atmosphere of a final boss fight. THIS is what a final fight needs to be!

Bravo Tekken team, you made the best final fight over SF6 and MK1. I didn't grow up with Tekken unlike the other 2 but this was my favorite story fight overall of the modern fighters.

@JotakuJo Hes talked about how certain parts of the story is stuff he pitched to the namco president way back in the late 90's. He absolutely has a hand in the creative process.
@@jsh020I meant in terms of gameplay not story. To say he was the only one who "cooked" the game is a false statement. Michael Murray and Kohei Ikeda were the leads in the project and deserve recognition. EDIT: Yeah re-read my comment.
Tekken Bloodlines reminded me of why I became a Jin Kazama fan to begin with. Tekken 6 totally ticked me off by ruining the character and making him Kazuya 2.0 for a short while. So:.. Jin Kazama redeeming himself and becoming the person… no becoming even better than the person he was in Tekken 3 made me WAY more emotional than I ever thought it would have. This theme and Jin’s theme remix really slammed home the fact that Jin Kazama, the hero we first saw as a kid who lost his mom in Tekken 3, is no longer a slave to the darkness… but a true master of martial arts, facing his greatest enemy. Welcome back, Jin Kazama.
This song not only captures the essence of Tekken, but the essence of buying a new game and feeling amazed and excited for a week at work for the time when you get back home to play it like a little kid :p
Since the birth of this planet, a memory has become deeply engraved onto the genes of all living things. A memory of aggression as a means of survival, a memory of fighting. Humans seek to defend their actions in the name of truth. The act of fighting is itself a true act. Without this truth, the fighter will perish. To learn the way, ask your own flesh and blood, because one's flesh is the door to the truth. To master the way, ask your own ken, or fist, because complete knowledge of one's flesh, blood and fist is what creates one's Tekken. And Tekken is the key to life!
Yeah I actually kind of hated it at first. But after beating the Story I now dig it. To be fair I remember Sparking back in 2004 sounding a bit silly at first. But now it's a banger.
Jin finally found his Rules of Nature. He’s found something worth fighting for. He’s overcome the Stains of Time. Found the Red Sun over paradise. The only thing he knows for real is that he’ll take a stand.
I was struggling a lot during the story but i refused to play on a difficulty lower then normal, and i will say when this song played i only lost one more time, and finshed the fight with the rage art while getting the achievement that is how a champion is born, it felt so rewarding to get that achievement after beating the final boss.
Hearing this theme/music/song while I fight against Kazuya brings tears of joy. Out of all the Tekken and video game music, this one is the most heroic I’ve ever heard.
I just got into Tekken and gravitated towards Jin almost instantly, this finale had me cheering for my man even at almost 10 o'clock at night. This story was SO good and blew me away for a fighting game
People keep saying how it gives off Rules of Nature/It Has To Be This Way vibes And it makes me love it more because it has the vibes of both of those mixed with Heat Haze Shadow
With my battle, it synced so perfectly with these lines 2:01 remembering Devil Jin, Jun and Xiaoyu. 2:12 Kazuya stood up and the high notes as he screamed and powered up was so damn perfect.

Miguel peeking from the corner: "I heard someone has will to live now!"
I shed a tear when Kazuya said "Power is everything" and Jin was like "Power ISN'T everything"
Peak Tekken.
and then changes form to jun/kazama style. holyfuck that was so epic
during that phase jin will auto parry almost every mid kazuya throws out too
Actually the power is everything line used by jin tekken 6 first time when he is anti hero in that game lol how he changed so far its incredible lol

Been a Jin main for 27 years now (since Tekken 3), and I gotta say that final boss fight was EVERYTHING!
It's even cooler when you know that Jin has been vocied by the same guy since his debut
For anyone that played the story and reached the last boss, knows the significance of this song.
Harada owes me a new chair, I demolished it from pure hype
Hell yeah I just finished it too
is the story worth it? I gave been online rank matching only, ever since day 1 of release.
@NeonNinaNights Yes it is. It's not a cinematic masterpiece, but it is what is in TEKKEN terms. Action, explosions and whacky stuff.

Man the Fighting games are BACK, between Tekken 8 and SF6 the FGC truly is living a second Renaissance, what a time to be a Fighting game FAN.
We don't talk about MK1 though :)
I thought we're on our third.
@@rundown132 what's wrong with mk1?
@@Hymn_it’s just by far the weakest release of the huge franchises that have come out in the past year. SF6 drastically innovated on the SF formula with a really unique system, Tekken added the heat system, a monumental task for a 3D traditional fighter. And so far, it seems well balanced and characters all interact with it uniquely.
MK1’s Kameos just don’t hold a candle to them, they’re effectively an assist/special move you can call with each different one, which has been done better in other games.

They did the anime thing in the final boss Great 🎉😄
The entire final fight was literally just peak fighting game!
I feel some vibe of *Rules of Nature* in Tekken 8

Harada really cooked for the past 9 years.
I don't think he had a hand in the creative process., maybe in the story. He's the lead producer and esports manager. I think the other director and producer provided more input.
Bro spent the 9 years working on the song it’s self 😂🤣 the game only a few months 🤣😂
@JotakuJo Hes talked about how certain parts of the story is stuff he pitched to the namco president way back in the late 90's. He absolutely has a hand in the creative process.

Hypest song since Sparking man! I loved the intro movie and this song playing in the story mode.
Tekken is the only series that can make a fight between father and son look like a legendary battle between gods.
Crickey, that's some insane wisdom there.
this song is is actually growing on me like crazy
Yeah I actually kind of hated it at first. But after beating the Story I now dig it.
To be fair I remember Sparking back in 2004 sounding a bit silly at first. But now it's a banger.

Hearing this theme/music/song while I fight against Kazuya brings tears of joy. Out of all the Tekken and video game music, this one is the most heroic I’ve ever heard.

Jin really used the power of friendship card after 3 character arcs.
I legitimately got emotional over the fact that during the intro, the line "If it takes forever" is sung as Jun appears. IT DID TAKE FOREVER.
"When this is over, I'll make you submit...Father."

Man this soundtrack Has been on my mind since the opening dropped. Then, final fight... Man... This song makes me want to keep pushing forward.
Ever since the game's launch, this has become the national anthem for Tekken players everywhere.

With my battle, it synced so perfectly with these lines 2:01 remembering Devil Jin, Jun and Xiaoyu. 2:12 Kazuya stood up and the high notes as he screamed and powered up was so damn perfect.
So then around 2:22 should be when heat is activated and the game said “FIGHT” for the last time. That’s so hype.
Does anyone else put this on while working out,it has so much energy and makes you wanna keep going
