honestly for me, this is tied with cristina for best character exit. at least he's leaving with an actual purpose and reason, and his family will be with him. i'm gonna miss him a lot though, and it's so sad that meredith is the last one standing from her resident year 😭 that quote "everyone is leaving and everyone is dying" hits different now, she legit woke up to deluca dead and jackson leaving. now she's basically alone. i mean of course she has her kids and maggie and amelia and jo, and ig bailey, richard, and kinda hayes but she has no real close friends. i really think this is the last season. everyone is gone and it really feels like they're wrapping things up. there isn't even that much they can do with the plot now.

As a nurse who has cared for many, many patients during this COVID pandemic, I found this scene to be a huge slap in the face to every medical professional who has given their blood, sweat, and tears to care for EVERY patient that comes to our hospital in need. NO ONE is turned away or left dying in the street due to their color or background. There are many uninsured patients that we took on and gave life-saving treatment to, regardless of ability to pay. This rhetoric is not true or helpful in any way.
He'll probably allocate funds from their worst ranking hospitals. Grey Sloane is the flagship hospital of the Catherine Fox Foundation so that's probably the one hospital he won't touch.
Well, I don't think that would mean closing down any of their hospitals (that would kinda go against the principle of his whole idea) but like re-distributing some funds and, most importantly, *raising* money for their new causes.
And I was actually considering watching Grey's again a few months back. I stopped watching years ago after Mark died. Couldn't watch it without him and Lexie on the show. As a non-american I am very confused about the whole "white supremacy" thing. I can name a lot of black actors and artists that I really appreciate and they live and work in the USA. They are rich and successful. Aren't they also part of the elite, the "supremacy"? Why would the white successful people be more "supreme" than the black ones? Can really someone be so mean as to let people die just because they have another race as your own??? Look at the white actors in the Grey's anatomy: I cannot imagine they would do such a thing.
