Think about this, most of the goals conceded by Spurs (which is one of the lowest in the league) have been own goals and penalities, for all the talk of a leaky defence with Ange's style, they haven't really copped many goals from open play.
Celtic scored 114 goals last yr , the highest in a season since the 40’s and still had the best defense in the league. I know it’s Scotland but still impressive.

I reckon we need at least 3-4. We're still the most debt ridden club in the prem. Ange was hired to deal with the reality of the situation. Spurs can be massive once that debt's paid off in a couple seasons.

@@ryanhickman3335 completely different impacts. Nuno had us winning our first three games 1-0 flukes and there hadn't been any noticable changes to the way we dictate the game. Ange has mad a clear and obvious impact, we are winning games yes but the way we are winning/playing is exceptionally more impressive.
These managers were very cordial with each but I’d bet over the next few years that rivalry will turn things sour.

Will Arteta even be around in a few years? He's been there since 2019. Very few managers last that long at one club and he's been backed by the club. But still no PL trophy. This sounds weird. Even as an Arsenal fan, I feel postecoglou should have rated higher. I know you don't consider the context only what happened on the pitch but he doesn't have the correct player profiles to even play his tactic however the team assembled and their fluidity has made this a deserved draw for them I think he should have got a 7.5. The way they attacked after the pen was remarkable though I do concede, they didn't look a threat all game, just battling back on the back foot
I’d say the only profiles he’s missing is a midfielder in Sarrs place, which would be Bentancur. Their players aren’t bad, they did beat us to top 4. It’s just Conteball that’s soul destroying.
Ange 100% is missing his very much needed 1v1 threat upfront, and a forward that can dictate their attack, none of their forwards bar Son that he had to shift into the middle are the same profiles he had at Celtic

I watched some media pundits putting out combine north London starting eleven. And no body even gave spurs any chance appart from maddeson. I said this during the man utd tottenham game,...be very careful of spurs. They are good at slowing down teams that seem to press them aggressively. Arsenal at some point on the game stopped pressing because they looked very clueless. You have to be very coordinated to press spurs because they adapt as the game grows.

I think if Arsenal had not been as wasteful in the first 30 minutes while they were on top the game would have been very different. But they were and the next 60 minutes was a different game.
Not clinical in front of goal. It seems like things aren't aligning for us. When we have a prolific striker the midfield is mediocre, when we have an exceptional midfield, the forward is mediocre.

I felt Timber's absence today, Zinchenko was losing concentration and does not know how to position himself when defending allowing Porro to spam dangerous crosses.
Timber is fast at recovering, positions himself well when defending, and battles. All these things Zinny does not do but he is very technical and important in build up

Excellent match. As a Spurs supporter, I was happy with their performance throughout the match. Our double pivots, Bissouma and Sarr, were brilliant, and they will only get better if they stay healthy. Did anyone notice Højlbjerg playing in the ten role? I thought he was decent in an advanced position. Maybe we’ll see more of him as a substitute in that role. Next week, we face Liverpool at home🤞🏾.

I think Arteta should get a 6. He made a mistake by bringing on Havertz in the 2nd half as Viera still added intensity to Arsenal's attack in the 1st half. Also the fact that Nketiah even started the match, Arteta could have played Smith Rowe on the flank and Jesus up top

We(Arsenal) suffered ourselves with dis game. When one is not playing, one becomes rusty. Jorginho turns rusty. Lackluster on ball. Havertz is not a physically strong player can easily be bullied on ball by tough opponents.
There's something about Arsenal injury crises. Timber and Rice have played all league games in their previous seasons, but coming to Arsenal has given them their injuries. Something is not right!

Rice is left to cover too much space on his own. This could result in long term injury cause we seem to be overusing him and games will be coming in thick and fast. We need to better manage him.I know Arteta is all about attack, but against competent midfields, like Sarr-Maddison-Bissouma, he could pair him with more established players that are also adept at defending and progressing the ball, Perhaps Jorginho, even Mr Dependable Elneny will do.

Brennan Johnson was not good enough today. To me, he was a puzzling signing and even more puzzling after I watched him today. Just seems like a mid table winger that got 50 million pounds. He offers really very little in terms of a clinical finisher or creator or a winger that can break down good defenders or other wingbacks.

completely disagree. This is his first start for us and it was away at the emirates so cut him some slack. I actually think he didn't do bad, he tested the keeper twice and was unlucky not to score. You're also forgetting the fact how he literally explained in this video how spurs were exploiting the weakness on arsenals left side, so obviously johnson wont receive the ball as much. I think against worse opposition he will be ruthless with how direct and fast he is. He proved his worth at forrest and I think in a side that's way more attacking base he will shine.
