Thanks for the nice comments everyone! I see my mauled legs are getting a lot of attention…surprisingly that wasn’t from my pedals but instead it’s hours and hours of riding off piste and getting stealth brambles caught on my legs, those things are so sharp and would just shred me…very annoying! Also people asking about my fork, I do have a vlog coming from this video where I’ll explain all. Cheers!
Ali, we’ll done. The time and effort put into setting up and moving of cameras, incorporating the drone footage, and selecting the music to maintain the vibe you’re looking to establish, are all impressive. That is before the riding even enters the picture. Inch-perfect when ‘on’ and decidedly human in other shots. You’ve always been good about showing that trials is hard, and that to make it look effortless takes years of dedication and commitment… and even so, it doesn’t always go to plan. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. Keep the vision fresh.
Well, Ali, I didn’t think that was you alone doing a 3-camera shoot... I thought you’d got a crew in, paid for by your sponsors. That was superb (and I’ve had 4+ decades working in professional video!) I bow to your skill on and off the bike. UNCLE G.
Super impressed Ali. The balance of music and trail sounds; the drone shots to segue between spots; but mostly, the satisfaction of seeing something as incongruous as a fattie riding along shooglie branches. That was ace!
Epic video! Can really feel the Chris Akrigg influence, great work making such an engaging edit when you are solo filming and riding. More of this type of content please!
Absolutely love your content, Ali. Super refreshing to see edits from someone that rides at such a high level, but makes use of terrain that many of us have access to. Much more relatable and refreshing than watching insane bike park edits and such over and over, because I can ride down the street and have something to practice on with inspiration from your videos. Keep it up! The fat bike and full suspension trail bike content has been awesome…
I've been following your channel recently and haven't found this style of video on your channel so far. It was really motivating and exciting to watch. It's refreshing to watch a video that is not story driven every once in while. Amazing skills. Keep up the good stuff!
I have a couple of edits but usually it’s too hard to make something like this in a week and vlog style is much more practical for solo production but sometimes stars align and an edit is born :)
This for sure one of the most beautiful non-street ride edit. This is just insane. As I said on the previous video you are the most stylish and technical rider i know. You're also so committed !🥵👊 Everything's insane so congrats and thanks again for making these edits.
Sitting here with big eyes and grin. That was awesome! I like these Yoda cuts, when there is no try. Very good idea to show each tree first - giving a noment for evaluation - and then what can be done with it.
It’s one of my life goals to get as close as I can to emulating your skill and grace. You motivate me by seeing what can be done. I don’t think I’ll ever be riding moss covered trees, but if I do, I’ll have you to thank.
Proper video! As a former pro/open singlespeed racer for two and a half seasons, my entry was a fully rigid 11.78kg fatbike with a 30x19 ratio. I won the series in 2017. Seeing your video-although my XC racing did not involve any trials specific skills-brings me back. Without a doubt, tubeless FBR/FBF Minions for the winion on 65mm wide carbon tubeless rims. Yet Mr. Clarkson, you take it to a whole new level. Mere mortals are dumbfounded when you slay the trials skills on the proverbial ugly redheaded stepchild, the fat bike. Your skill and determination are always inspiring.
So good!! Tree lines are my favourite! Especially when combined with some rocks. Nature trials at its finest. Wish there was some of that stuff near me.
Exponentially more excellent than normal Ali! The style and music has reminded me to rewatch some of Chris Akrigg / Victor foto makers fantastic videos from a few years ago. I couldn't give a flying duck about fat bikes but have loved what you have been able to create from having one.
I thought..."cool, another Ali blog" . Within the first 30 seconds I was pumped & blown away. Top notch video, Ali ! Love the editing, lines + music. So good. Thank you for filming and editing.
This video was amazing, seriously creative in so many ways. Shot choices, lines, edit, music, just an overall awesome video! If this was self shot, it’s even more impressive! Fair play, some gnarly lines in there, makes me want a fatty too 🤘🏻 Keep it up, channel has really stepped up this year, loving your dedication
Sick edit Ali! As a trail rider, I appreciate the natural terrain and your line choice. Cant wait for the snow to melt so I can try and teach myself trials riding! I do enjoy the usual asmr bike builds/ trials sessions. However this is a welcome departure. Cheers!
My God Ali ! That was amazing ! I must say that was one of my favourite videos of yours. The editing, the angles, the lines, no dialog (not that I don’t like when you narrate your video), the soundtrack and, of course, the fatbike !!!!! I know this one must have been a lot of work (and pain by the look of your legs) Thanks !!! I will for sure rewatch a couple times this video !!!
Oh shit, I just rewatched it. And I noticed the shot of the different spots at the beginning. Supercool how you composed them. Like going forward with a steady device while zooming out or in. It reminds me of some classic shots by Peter Jackson (the dolly zoom effect). Super effective !!!
@@danielgosselin9930 the old "Jaws" dolly zoom! I actually figured that out by accident, I had no idea you could do that effect in the editing, I thought it had to be shot in camera. I'm pleased you enjoyed it either way :)
Seriously underrated UA-camr! I never comment on videos but felt compelled after watching this amazing edit. Your normal videos are great, but this is next level. Well done Ali!
Exceeds your best ! The editing, sound n ruthenium and riding- to’ e invented a new thing- I want a fat bike ! Was thrilled on that first stump ! Great video
man big reminders of chris akriggs riding & videos - the music choice, self filmed style and of course the level of riding is amazing. really enjoyed it
Really incredible riding and amazing having filmed it solo! The flow and vibe is smooth and the tunes groovy. It makes me want to ride! This one I'll be sharing with all my friends, even the non biking ones.
Ali, this was insanely good! The video production is not on super high level, but, who needs it, while I still can see how beautiful these lines are! 👍
Riding trial in a natural environement with a fat bike without some safety stuff as knee pads or gloves is just crazy af. This vid really shows that you are damn skilled. Love it!
Some of that stuff was pretty nutty! Total bike control and trust during some of these moves. I just did a video about learning some of the trials basics. During that video I talked about how important having the rear wheel hop dialed for more advanced trials moves........and yeah, this video shows how important that is. I sure would like to see a tutorial on how to get into the rear wheel hop without starting with a little front wheel endo. This is awesome Ali!!! Nice work!
Awesome, loving the On One Fatty. Wish I had a fraction of your skills, so many trees blown over in my local woods trails are un rideable in places. Would love to ride over stuff like you do. Another great video. Keep them coming 👍🤟
This was so good Ali! Amazing riding and it really shows through how much work you put into the production as well. The drone shots in the trees and the nicely framed shots with your Sony all add up to an awesome video. Man, you killed it with this one! Excellent work, man.

That was excellent Ali!! Some really cool lines in there with a lot of trust in rotten mossy bark! Loved the music choice to! 👌
Thanks Danny, means a lot coming from the master of edits! 🤘🏻
Absolutely epic! Loving the fat bike trials
Who needs trails when you've got trials. Sick edit, I am loving the unconventional bike setup.
Anything a trail to a trials rider 😂
Ali, we’ll done. The time and effort put into setting up and moving of cameras, incorporating the drone footage, and selecting the music to maintain the vibe you’re looking to establish, are all impressive.

maybe next time :P Glad you liked it though!

Thanks very much Peter!
The accuracy is a thing of beauty 👍
Big tyres help 😂
My favorite Ali video yet! So stoked to see you ripping on the fat bike.
Thank you :)
That tree line @4:50 was amazing.
Thank you :)
mmmmm, world class trials, deep house, nature and a phat bike!
Cheers!
Fantastic edit Ali, still loving the incongruity of a fat bike doing that
Haha yeah I never thought I’d be doing these on a fat bike when I first scouted them 😂
Great video ! Magnifique 🤩
cheers!
Epic video! Can really feel the Chris Akrigg influence, great work making such an engaging edit when you are solo filming and riding. More of this type of content please!
Thanks very much! I’ll try my best but this style of video isn’t always possible solo with just a few days…the stars aligned this week
actually insane. the coolest trials edit so far this year TBH
Thanks very much Mr Mibson!
That's Insane Ali! So many big, slippery, and scary stuff. I love it!!!
Glad to hear it 😁
this is awesome Ali, that bike is so cool!
Thank you :)
Man this was quite possibly the best edit I've seen in a while. Exquisite riding, filming and editing all round. Well done Ali!
Thanks a lot Mel :D
AWESOME job Ali! This video defines FUN ON A FATTY!!!!
Thanks very much 😁
You're bloody fearless! Great video, good music...just wow, I'll never look at a tree the same again!
Thanks Andy!
Wow! simply brilliant start to the weekend 👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉
Thanks Graham :)
Awesome, very good mate. That side hop to wobbly tree was sick

Superb Ali! A really cool edit many thanks for the hard work in making it and janking those massive wheels around
My pleasure!
What an edit! Love these cinematic compilations of your riding.
cheers :)
Such an awesome video produced in just a week is astonishing.
Three days 😉 thanks very much 😁👍🏻
Holy cr@p! Love the riding, the camera work, the music… everything!
Thank you! Not bad for three days work huh? 😁

🔝🔝🔝
I would also say that the self filming is impressive as much as the fat bike riding👊 you did an amazing job out there 🤠

Tree stuff is my favorite to ride too 😁
Amazing edit ali, some seriously creative lines and next level riding.
Thanks Chris!
Worth the wait dude proper hill climby tree jumpy madness.
Thanks very much 😊
I think that would have to be some of the best riding and trials moves you have done
You are enjoying the fat bike .
👍👌👍
Great work
Fat Bikes unlock a whole other style. So pumped to see you take it to another level Props!
Thanks very much!
Ali, that upload was amazing, really techy but still flow riding with nice music an an really great vibe, love it 👌

Unbelievably good shots Ali! You’ve outdone yourself on this one
Amazing! In my believe definitly one of your top 3 videos. So much dynamics with that fat bike. Looks a bit like a game changer.
That line at 1:10 blew my mind
Killer video 🤙

Nice see the original forks back on the bike.
Getting Chris Akrigg vibes from this.

Thanks! I had a couple but nothing toooo bad, I’ll share them when I upload the vlog 😂

Much appreciated 😁🤘🏻
