- A how to on adjusting the rear spring on a TTR90 to the heavier stiffer setting. I used the tools below:
4 Piece Spring Tool or Circlip tools

I like that rear fender/side number plate combination/fusion. Much easier than on a KLX110.
Front case is a 10mm
4:05 That's what she said..
thank you
Thanks
What is that part that you unclipped (electrical component) that sits under the screw that holds the rear plastics on? My electric start doesnt work and someone put a longer bolt in that spot and it pushed a hole into that relay looking piece. Thought that might be my problem but I dont know what that piece is for.
Thanks!
Curt Cepican - It's either the CDI unit or Rectifier/regulator see this picture for the electrical layout: tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2pov1nt&s=8#.VWhzCEY31pp
I recently purchased an adapter block that goes onto the rod of the shock absorber assembly. This adapter actually is designed to raise the seat height about 4 inches. Has anyone else purchased one of these and installed it. If so, how difficult was this to install and was it worth the effort in the end ?
Thomas E. Vaughan where did you buy the block
Did you put it on and if so was it worth it? I'm looking into getting one too
Hey I don't know if you do request, but could you help me with my rear breaks on my ttr 90? The break peddle for the rear is stuck in the downward position and is causing the break to stay on and I don't know why
+Carter Fitchett - sorry i sold the bike. I remember the brake having a big spring to reset the break lever
Whats up man I just recently got a ttr90 and im probably doing this today, would you think it'd be easier if I just took the shock out and moved the clip? I dont have anything to pry the spring back so I might just take it out.
I think taking it off the bike may be harder.. You might be able to use a tire iron?
Yeah i just took it out and then realized i had nothing to compress the spring with haha so im gunna get some tire irons and try that, thanks man
Does this make the weight limit on the suspension heavier
yes, slightly.. It will allow a heavier person to ride the bike. It will make it more bouncy for a lighter person.. I think the lower setting is for 120 LB, and the heavier setting for 180 LB, but could be wrong
Well that you for messaging me back it's cool tho
Is the shock adjustment the same with the pw80
sup3r1orjakjak - sorry, i tried to look the answer up and couldn't find it. Let me know how you end up
its the same thing as this video.
How do u make it sit higher
you can go cheap route using the "X-TENDER TTR90 rear LIFT KIT"
or go the better route and use a KX60 shock found on the PW80
I purchased the Xtender you mentioned above but have not tried to install it just yet. How hard is it to get installed and is it worth the effort.
Could you PLEASE do a video on installing one the Extenders ?? Thanks.
