Houston, thank you for shooting this. I grew at Caddo Lake until I was 10 years old. My folks had a cabin on 5 acres. My father sold the cabin and we moved about 1 hour and half west. Not sure my mother or me ever forgave my father for that. This place is home. I have been gone from there for 31 years. I have spent my last 31 years hoping to one day live there again. I have visited a few times over the years but, it just is not the same as having lived there. Great video.

Sure hope we’ve not lost this wonderful gem to the invasive giant salvina. That stuff has ruined much of Caddo, very sad. Hoping for solutions beyond herbicides and beetles.

D600 is what the video part was shot in but the rest were all from various shooters on the trip. Some pro level others beginners.
