Great torches. I also have a slightly older model, but my son borrowed it and he loves it so much it's a present to him now. So...... I will take advantage of the flash sale to get me a new one. I also have the smaller M2R Pro. It's my every day carry torch. It's a great torch with big power & throw for it's size. Lots of coppers use them for their work.
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Might be a slightly old model now too mate. Had it a couple of years. I think Stu looked at one in a vid once, which should be easy to find.
Bought 2 javelot turbos and run those for the passenger and run the old faithful lightforce. No cords to get stuck in the door jam or trip over. They’re brilliant.
Those deer were very confused. "The sun came up with no warning and it was in the wrong place. What is going on?" I have three Olight torches. I carry an i3TEOS in my pocket at all times. Incredibly handy torch with 1 "AAA" battery and two intensities. I was so impressed, I bought a second one for my car. If I am going out in the dark, I carry a Warrior X on my belt.
Yes the Olights are the Torch to own! I have several, my fav is the SR95S Intimidator has a 1000 metre throw! Also got a M3X-L2 Triton & SR52 Intimidator also a couple R40 Seeker's! I have got all the top Torch brands & for me Olight are #1. In a blackout at home the SR95 will stay on for hours & hours as well!
The 2 top of the line Led Lenser head torches are excellent for camping. In fact live off grid and for the last 5 years my $300 LL head torch has been charged less than 20x I reckon and I use it every single day of the year, albeit for short periods of say a few mins at a time up to maybe 45mins in one go at times. The strap is rooted, the model out of production yet it is as new. It of course can't go a kay but it is pretty bloody good perhaps 400m.
Great videos always great too watch, we have just got this awesome light, can you link your hunting video with the older model so I can try to learn from it how not to make the foxes run! Thank you
For night time I have mounted a reversing camera on a magnet base , you put on your roof above the driver and have a 7 inch screen on the driver side dashboard. Night vision driving animals can’t see.
Looks like a great light ,but I prefer z light as it would go better on red an green as no filters ,how do you like the figure 8 light holders I always find they don’t point in the same spot as the scope ,unlike the system on z light which works better, another great video Rodney thanks
Hi & thx for the review. I have a question if you are able to answer. If you only had one torch for hunting fox etc which one would you purchase. The JP-303 or the olight? Thx in advance
I’m looking at a torch to mount on my rifle to use in conjunction with a thermal mounted on the roof of my vehicle.Looking at either the z vision or the javalot 2. Most of my hunting is open country and realistically the maximum range would be maybe 200 meters. Question is do you think the zvision on red light will handle this range easily or should I try the javalot. Thanks
The JP303 red light will give you eyeshine on a fox out to 500m. With a half decent scope you won't go wrong with it mate. The Javelot is an awesome white light but the red lens cover cuts down the throw immensely
I dont buy anything that has "pro" in the name, I could not cope with the pressure, I like models that have titles like "It's okish" or "Barely works" or "Made in China by Ping and Pong"
I am a huge OLight fan, and like you I have quite a number, Cheers
Never hurts to have a backup or 3. 😅
@@RJMHuntingAustralia I think if I bought another one, I may need another divorce lawyer, the first marriage cost enough, Cheers
❤A divorce is not a cheap thing either like a couple of hunting trips with you the target 🎯
Haha, they say it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Total BS 🤣
@@RJMHuntingAustralia Thats why I am on my 2nd marriage, Cheers
Thankyou for the video, I just brought one 🙂
No worries mate. Enjoy 👊

Haven't seen that particular model. I'll check it out. 👌

Hard to go past them at that price mate. 👊

My Warrior X Turbo and Javelot Pro 2 are both excellent bits of kit 👍
Good gear mate 👌

Good stuff mate 👍

Wow. You own more bloody torches than me. 👌

Nearly all of my hunting is done with thermal mate. Wasn't making videos back when I was purely using a torch
Love the new features. Makes me jealous as I have 2 of the older models. Damned fine product and just the thing for when the SHTF.
I still really like my old one mate. Hard to go past the replaceable 18650 batteries
Couldn't afford the Olight I wanted so I looked into Sofirn and got a couple to try out..........was very impressed.
As they as it gets the job done for you mate 👍
G'day mate ✌🏻. Since ur airgun post... Muey Bueno 👍🏻❤️✌🏻
Yeah, that video definitely got some traction. 👌

I run a thermal on the roof and red light to navigate with. Works great. 👌
OLight; Marauder 2... Any good mate, or too bulky for ones needs? It is like daylight though.. O.o
Have never used that model mate. 🤷♂️

I run the Z-Vision light mount on my IR torch mate.
Hadir om..
Salam satu Laras
Great video. Can you do other gear videos of your rifles?
Cheers mate. I try and do what I can Allan. Unfortunately it all takes time which is a precious commodity these days. 👌

That's a tough one.
Depends if you want stealth.
If you're considering doing any red light work I'd go the 303

No worries at all mate 👍
Hey mate, can i please ask if you would know what the the charging time would be for the javelot 2 pro?
Thanks
It's like 9hrs mate from what I have read. Haven't run mine dead flat as yet. I always keep it topped up with the magnetic in car charger
Thanks mate. Very much appreciated. Will head over to their website and purchase one.
@jasondemetrious6944 here's a code you can use for a 10% discount on anything not on sale mate.
code: RJM10
Ah! You just made me spend more money.
😅 Sorry mate.
Not in my price range. I’m not a night time hunter all my neighbors would be calling the police. Good video thought.
Thanks mate. 👊
