so my two guns like this are not getting enough pressure and stop spraying intermittently sometimes fine and others it just stops and I squeeze and nothing for a bit .. ..and I check all these things..and still happens...and the guns are fairly new...and cleaning and checked and replaced the gaskets..do you take the gaskets off every time you clean it ? that seems to hold solution
First check how much solution is in the canister. You need a min of 1/2 full canister. When/if you tip the gun the spray isn’t able to be picked up by the pickup stick/tube.
@@BronzedBerry yes know that always put plenty of solution ..it does it randomly no matter how much solutions
.I am going to try teflon tape in the threads...I have tightened , loosened the cup to try....
@@kimberkiefer6886 if it's happening to both guns, my guess is that the guns might not be put back together correctly. It's a super common issue or that when you tightened the gun onto the canister it warped the plastic. If you can't figure it out, I do offer Zoom consults that we can work on it together. Hi, where can I buy the plastic pick up tube as ours has snapped and are they universal? For example: Does the pick up tube fit any spray gun? Thanks for your help xx

@@jayjohal6892 IF your gun looks like the one in the video and you purchased from a California company I highly recommend contacting Apollo Sprayers (also in CA and a major manufacturer of HVLP units). Try them: hvlpsunless.com
Have you ever had the problem where the gun is spraying solution at all times? Not just when pressing the lever?
It sounds like the air distributor cap might have not been put on correctly. Or the little metal nut that holds the pin in place with the trigger is loose.

How do you glue in the rubber tubing white ⭕️ piece that’s above the straw? Mine came out and I’m not sure what to use to glue it back in there, or if it should be glued. There is white residue like caulking where it was secured.
Megan Shirts no glue needed. It will slip right in and when pressed up with the canister it will stay put.
We also have this issue in our salon! We have glued it several times but now keeps coming off! Can we buy the plastic tubing as a brand new part?

jemma richardson I believe you are referring to the white plastic ring that clips into the gun in the nozzle. If so, I used my fingernail to pop it out. If you have a gun from a reputable company it will come out. I can not speak for guns that are not manufactured in the USA.
