The mountain bike trails are so well maintained that people from all over north america come early in the summer to train for the season as the trails are never muddy
Great reviews. I love how you go over everything the park as to offer & also point out the dog beach. We are brand new at camping with travel trailer & I really appreciate when you showed us how it is to drive to the park & thru the park. On our list this summer, thanks to your video.
I love watching your videos. Your husband looks like Tom Segura, which always makes me laugh so I like to listen to everything he has to say thanks for what you do.
Glad to hear it! The best is yet to come. We are heading to some amazing parks that are a little more our style; great hiking, kayaking and the sound of loons. Can't wait!
Another great review. I was looking at the different LakenEerie parks and was undecided . The reviews, the websites didn’t make Turkey Point that interesting for me, from your review it looks really nice. 😊
Based on your review, we stayed here at the end of May, ironically at the same site as you did. We loved it! Since it was at the beginning of the season and during the week, it wasn't busy. The biking was great and gave us an opportunity to look at other sites. If there is a negative, it would be that the washrooms are dated, but that is ok. We did visit the beach, but since it was still spring, it was cool. Will have to come back in the summer. We also visited the Burning Kiln and bought a bottle of wine to enjoy at home. Thanks again for the review....it gave us an idea of what to expect😊
Really liking your reviews. We love turkey point for a lot of the same reasons….. big sites and the big trees and smells. We usually go in September so very quiet. They were very strict on cleaning the main washrooms last year. There is a conservation area not to far called Deer Creek and it is fantastic to kayak although it does cost extra and there are also a few creeks in the area.
We started our camping season off at Turkey Point last spring but only stayed a night because o a caterpillar infestation. The park office were very sympathetic and refunded us our extra day we did not stay. The park is great when no caterpillars. Nice bike and walking trails and you can drive to a great beach.
Just booked the same site, haha. It looked level-ish, (we don't have levelers on the motorhome! and some of these smaller parks don't mention 'Slope' details in the descriptions!). I'm a few days late to the reservation to get first pick; but this one was available, so should be good!
Just watched , this review looks nice, we have been to Burning Kiln a couple of times around pond as Harvest Hosts campers loved that place, will be doing Turkey Point next year for sure
We didn't realize that Burning Kiln was a Harvest Host. I remember seeing a travel trailer in the parking lot but didn't think anything of it. We don't have a Harvest Host membership but that would be a great place to spend a night.
@@CampingwiththeColes yes we were parked around that pond, just heavenly, great wine, great food, we walked across the street for campfire, Harvest Host & Boondockers Welcome are great, end up there on weekends as Can’t get into Provincial Parks
Great public service folks! I am doing my best to advertise the reviews of the awesome Coles! May I kindly request that you cover sites ‘right on the water’ ? Cheers!
Ok the low tone This is going to be awesome and mountain bike sequence made me laugh so hard!!! But I absolutely loved, far better experience from the mud disaster of the park that “shall not be named”. I am going to Bon Echo in October, I gather your trip is sooner? WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO SANDBANKS?? I am going at the end of August. Thank you for another fantastic video.
We're going to Bon Echo August 19th for 4 nights and Sandbanks September 10th for a 3 nights. I bet we'll run into each other at some park eventually. Thanks for regularly watching and commenting on our videos. Happy camping!
Thanks for posting this. Really helpful, just a quick question, for the group site, how far is it from the toilets and water taps? We are staying at 402 site.
I have yet to venture to the Lake Erie Parks. Turkey Point is DEFINITELY on my list for next year with my littles. (Well getting not so little now :( :P). It looked like you had an amazing time
We have only visited Rock Point, we liked it, but at that time there were some dead fish on the shore and in the water, not sure why... This was a few years back. Which park is your favorite in the area?
Thanks for watching. We actually never saw any ticks in the 5 Lake Erie parks we went to this year. Last year we saw tons at Pinery and saw some at Presqu'ile and Point Farms.
Hey, I keep it simple by just using the GoPro Hero 9 Black with the GoPro Media Mod as well as a GoPro Hero 7 Black for all my video. I use the Rode Wireless Go II microphones with the Rode Lavalier Go Microphones for some of my audio and the rest is just from the Media mod for the Hero 9.
Turkey Point Provincial Park also owns a golf course a short distance from the park. It’s a nice course. They used to offer dinner and 9 holes for 2 for $29,00 so a deal you couldn’t pass up. As for kayaking it’s nice to go around the marina and check out the boats and stuff. Can you provide the name of your popcorn pot and where to get one? Not a fan of jiffy pop!
Thinking of booking here however have read reviews about quiet supervision from warden. did you experience this? We're low key acoustic guitar folky people and like to play and sing until dark. Would you see this as being a problem?
We never experienced any issues but then again, we were pretty quiet. We can't really comment on whether or not low key acoustic guitar playing would cause concern for the park wardens. It's up to the personal opinion of the warden and whether or not someone complained about the noise. I doubt that this park is different than any other. I wouldn't let the reviews be a deciding factor as to going or not.
Cell Phone Service: If you've been to this park please let us know your experience with cell service.
You and your wife have a beautiful bond together. I love to see the spirit of love. Thanks for what you do.

We loved Bon Echo. Beautiful park!

Another great review. We will add this park to our list for next year. We will definitely be checking out the wineries as well.
I am really enjoying this season. Great job guys. 👍👍👍👍👍

Great video. Helps us have a good visual of the park before we go there with our RV this Friday.
Glad it was helpful! Have a good time.
So nice to meet you both at Bon Echo Provincial park this week hope you had fun

Nice video! We always come back here every year. I book the same campsite every time. It’s nice!! I’m going to look into Rondeau PP next year.
Just booked 4 nights at Turkey Point the week before Thanksgiving. First visit. Looking forward to it
Excellent video! Great details about the campground and things to do!
Glad you enjoyed it! Happy camping!
Keep up the great work. Me and my wife are new to RV camping. We really enjoy your videos and find them very helpful!!!
Thank you! We're glad you find them helpful. Happy camping!
Don't forget to watch out for the poison ivy !
Watching as I get ready to take my newphew to the beach

It's a really big site! As I recall, a pretty good slope backing into it but then fairly level. Have a good time.

Mississauga here
What you should get is a good E Assist bike and then you can enjoy the mountain bike trails all day long and not get tired
Funny enough, Cheryl just got an e-assist bike. It shows up in our next few videos. We're putting it through it's paces before we do a review of it.
Thanks for posting this. Really helpful, just a quick question, for the group site, how far is it from the toilets and water taps? We are staying at 402 site.
Hey great season so far guys, just had a great time in algonquin after finding your channel.
Glad you enjoyed it. Algonquin is #1 in our books. We're going to Canisbay in September. Can't wait.
@@CampingwiththeColes small world, i was just at canisbay. Caught a big bass on the lake of two rivers yesterday.
Do they still have the Golf course at Turkey Point? Last time I was there, it was a fun round of golf.

We are at Turkey point and want to know what trail u cycled. We walked the oak Savannah and got lost
I think it was called "the Planet of the Apes Trail"
We're going to turkey point this weekend! What site was this that you guys went to?
We had site 182. Enjoy your time there!

Only vault toilets ,no shower and bathrooms ?
Sorry, I said it kinda fast at 5:16 in the video. There are two comfort stations with flush toilets and showers.
