My friend with who suffers from thalassophobia spent the last part of the quest screaming out of fear. But she still said: “FOR THE HEAAAARTS!!!” Which I guess is a good way to overcome your fears 😆

5:12 I think that monster is an ancient dark race creature that inhabited that underwater bunker-type place and was sealed for years This season tells the story of a treasure found in an underwater bunker that has been abandoned for years due to a dark race attacking the place. This is my opinion
Maybe the owner of those structures died to krills in wasteland or somethin else
I actually have a different interpretation. We sort of see how many creatures were contained and trapped. In a mural when you go deep enough, we see how the people contained these creatures in order to extract their light. Creatures would either die/turned into stone or turn into dark creatures, ones left with waste in them as we see with a manta devoid of light. This concept is also often seen with even the spirits and sky kids themselves as only through sharing light were we able to free them. These creatures that can also be seen as dangerous were then contained in specific cages deep under the sea and sealed them. The crew hunt for "resources" and we can see that it's referred to diamonds that are often used in many structures, such as activating mechanics like on doors, building bridges and containing light in general. This sort of hunt may have happened in the first place because there's lack of ressources. Looking through the use of light, it's likely that light became scarce along with these diamonds used to contain them, which ultimately is what could've caused a civil war in the sky kingdom. As such, due to the scarcity of it, they would try to find as many as possible, even if it risked their lives, such as we see the sky kid going out of their way to find them, even if they were once used as pieces of machines used for other purposes, even in some of the most dangerous places. There was seven a mural indicating the kind of creatures there are below but still went for it. Even the spirit we had to find risked his life in such deep places just to get these stones

To me, it’s the opposite. The normal looks bland, and weird.
As much as I didn’t like this season’s cosmetics, I absolutely LOVED the quest line.
