Am I the only one who finds him overreacting? I mean yeah sure it's horrible that she cheated and she probably doesn't wanna divorce in big part cause of the money, but why not at least try? She's asking for therapy, why not try and go with her? If she's bad for cheating, he's as bad for acting so holier than though and throwing big words like betrayal and disloyalty around so much, when he obviously won't try for the marriage.... Cheating happens for a reason. Not out of spite.
Personally, I don’t. If she had cheated once, maybe I’d agree. But she had a full affair, meaning she took the decision to betray him consciously and repeatedly. Not only that, she involved one of their children. That’s a HUGE blow after twenty years of marriage. Obviously we don’t know the full story between OP and wife but based on how most of the children backed off and the way he speaks about the marriage it doesn’t seem like they had any big issues. After 20 years, people get comfortable and sometimes bored, and that might as well be the case. Even if they did have issues, why didn’t OP’s wife talk to him and suggest counseling before cheating? I 100% understand why he doesn’t want to give her another chance and he is definitely not as bad as her for not wanting to give her another chance.
😅you dont know your worth huh. theres a reason why cheating is the one thing the bible said u CAN divorce. its literally unforgivable. i will forgive u in my heart, but kick rocks and go ur own seperate ways. even if its once...i genuinely cannot do it. im hyperrr sensitive, i know when ur energy has flirted or admire someone else, idk how people do it...being THAT self aware? i cant do with a man with even 1% of self control lacking. even if its 99%, that 1% is dangerous.
@@mellojellou idk, I kind of feel that someone who is that strict with how he deals with everything in this story might as well not have actively listened before..I mean it's true, we don't know, so we don't know what the wife might have tried for years to no avail, that the husband may not even have noticed or cared about. Anyway, as we said, we don't have the full info so we can't judge 😅 I just firmly believe that there are greater obstacles that a couple may have already passed, but society has it so that this one is THE worst obstacle. And I don't think that's very fair. But whatever

Because if you can't TRUST someone, there IS no relationship. Simple as that. Relationships are built on trust.
