Yes i remember this one and it's very cool. Back in the 80's being famous was something young people were looking for and we have so many music legends from that era, thanks for this one, these twin brothers are very cool and good looking.
Dude, freakin awesome reaction. Up my wheelhouse 😀 Bros (it's pronounced Ba-ross) were as big as the Beatles for a few short years in UK it was freakin Bros Mania the girls would go absolutely batshit crazy whenever these guys arrived in town. And as luck would have it I looked a bit like Matt Goss the lead singer and had my hair styled the same and looked like him so plenty of girls for me haha. Bros were Matt and Luke Goss, twins, hence the name Bros. The other guy was called Craig who played bass. He ended up leaving Bros by the second album I think. Bros were not a one hit wonder they did astonishing album sales and made millions and toured extensively. However the bands shelf-life was fairly limited being an 80's pop fad band. It's been a while since I heard that. Brings back so many memories of discos and the girls!!!! Brrross boooya.
I totally forgot about this song! A super fun dance track! The beat doesn't slow down as much as it changes rhythm to 3:4 and they combine that with a key change - that's the unique combo! Great fun!! Thanks!
I have to admit I was a Brosette back then lol. Push was my first album bought with my own money. Got it on cassette in WH Smith’s because it was cheaper in there. Paid in lose change, took the girl behind the counter ages to count as it was mostly pennies lol! It’s Bros not bros, rhymes with the twins surname Goss.
Loved the band back in the day. Still think their music is great. But to me the singles "I Owe You Nothing" and "Too Much" are the best. This one did not age so well. The bass is great but the use of cowbells sounds a little dated now even though in the 80's it was all the rage. :)
I still have this video on an old VHS tape! Check out Tous Les Garçons Et Les Filles by Françoise Hardy, from 1962. Then compare The Eurythmics's 1985 version of it, with Annie Lennox singing in French. That song is a major French oldies's classic.
They started out as a garage band called GLOSS, which I imagine is a combination of the names Logan and Goss. Could be interesting to hear any early demos recorded prior to the signing as they had a sax player at one point...
@@davidoldham8951 Oh ok, You spelt it wrong though surly a typo as it is Bros as you know. lol Where you from David-in Oldham or is that your actual surname. lol
You should react to their version of Silent Night, Matt's voice is amazing on it, and Sister which was about Matt & Luke's sister Carolyn who passed away.
The bass player craig since bros never got heard of again nothing since his hey day of the 80s!! pretty sad but the twins got all the fame really the magazines, media, etc... We're all about those two.
FANTASTIC band and love love them !!! Matt (the lead singer) still is active as a singer and has just recorded his latest solo album due to be released in a few weeks, the first single is out and is AMAZING !!!!! You should check out Drop The Boy, I Quit, Cat Among The Pigeons, Are You Mine & I Owe You Nothing (this is next one you should do then Drop The Boy) Matts solo single is called Somewhere To Fall & you can see that his voice has matured and is still in fantastic shape too. (I do have a MASSIVE crush on him) you should check out The Key, the live version of My Way from his Las Vegas residency he’s doing, and If You Were Here ….. his voice is stunning still and the documentary he did with his twin Luke about getting back together and the difficulties that had in the documentary called After The Screaming Stops is well.worth a watch. Keep Up the fantastic work & stay safe xxxxx
It's actually pronounced bros as in ostrich 😂, they were teens, youngest to play at Wembley arena 100,000 people live,3 albums, still going today, luke the twin, drummer, has had lead roles In blade 2,hell boy, death race 2 ,amongst other lead roles, matt the vocalist is still successful today, Craig logan the bass guitar managed pink the singer ,as well as others at EMI,so they are definitely not one hit losers😂also check out Take that - back for good, more number 1s than the beatles, probably best boy band of all time, yes still going now
More of a one album wonder but absolutely defines Britain in the 80s. I wasn’t a great fan, a friend was utterly besotted with them, the album never stopped in his house. Good stuff though, great memories.
Oh, how the girls at school loved these boys. And oh, how us guys wanted to fry their hides! I must admit that I rather liked another of their songs called "I Owe You Nothing" at the time; a crime which, had I admitted to it, would've seen me lynched. Fortunately, today, I know it's bad. And this song is even worse. Not to mention that the boys WOULD get their hides fried if they walked down the street dressed like that today. Or at least laughed out of town. By the girls!

Ughhh. It was a great attempt. Brief moments of sounding like Jermaine Stewart…. But damn I can’t get past his out of tune flat ass voice. But yeah, the drummer was so cute.
Love this one. A true 80s classic over here in Europe. Happy you did this.

They were my jam back then. Lol ‘Drop the Boy’ ‘I Owe You Nothing’ ‘Cat Among the Pigeons’ etc… are other great hits from them.
One of the first songs I remember from my childhood! 😄
So much souvenirs with this song, it was a hit the summer I was 18, so you can imagine how I'm nostalgic about it.
It's on my list of hits from 1988. I have fond memories of this hit.
1987 UK and the girls went bandy over Bros (altho we pronounced it ‘Bross’ for some reason?😂). Brosmania they called it. They def had their moment…🤗
That's how it is pronounced in Moss Bros , the tailors.
I coul not click fast enough!!!
I totally forgot about them...it is such a treat!!!!
Bless you.
Watch their video. When the Screaming stops. An eye opener!

Bros was biggest band in late 80s
Hats of to the drummer
@@johnbibby5571 Agreed. Who would of thought the "crap cheese" of the 80s would be epic music, compared to the Mega so called "Artists" of today eh?
I remember this group with the title " I own you nothing" and also Mel & Kim with the music "Respectable", it's so late 80's-90's
Kim used to be married to Craig, actually.
Wow I just remembered I had a BROS cassette tape

HI DERECK THANKS FOR THE SONG I HAD PROPOSED IT THANKS THANKS
Oh my god love Bros when I was a kid had all posters around my bedroom . How can you say it nasty
That bass. Their musicality was amazing, amazing song writing, as a muso you would love to be a studiolayer for this band.
