My P10c is fine just being stock, I don’t plan on doing anything to it at all, I carry it appendix in a Slim Fit holster and it’s super comfortable to wear all day sitting, standing and driving, if you look at Slim Fit holsters the one I use is the Phalanx.

We are for sure living in the Golden Age of Firearms. So much to choose from lol at this rate, might as well have a different Pistol for every day of the month. My pockets are crying though 😂
Sure as hell is a good problem to have. Hell, I am coming up on 4k rounds through a damn PSA Dagger with zero drama! Lol imagine that. Even the bottom barrel guns have a high level of reliability.
I “cheated” after 22 years with Glock, and shot a Shadow Systems MR920 Combat. Six months later Glock was out and the unofficial “Gen6” upgrade was in. Now if I wasn’t on the Glock Operating System using Shadow Systems, I would be using the S&W M&P 2.0 Compact. For the price point now a days I would consider the CZ P10C. However I know it’s not a striker fired gun, I would go with the DA/SA CZ P-07, (before the P10C), probably with some Cajun Gunworks and/or CZ Customs magic done to it. I would love to see a little DA/SA love with a review of the P-07 and/or the P-09. 😎✌️
@@edsweeney6843I’ve got the P10c and the P07 and they are great, my P07 could use some Cajun Gun Woks love but I’m going to keep it the way is, they are both fine pistols.
Gotta say, your channel has risen straight to the top of my most watched lists. Listen on my way to work and it just puts me in a good mood. Thanks. Hard to beat the SIG Macro, but I went with the Springfield Hellcat Pro mainly due to price. Picked up the Pro with the 17 round gear up package with 5 mags and a range case. But I still want the Macro. Damn, so many guns so little money.
I'm a big Smith & Wesson fan. I've got a suppressed M&P compact 9mm next to my bed, and a shield plus in my holster. The flat-faced trigger feels great, and I love the texture. Though I'm picking up my first CZ (Shadow 2) tomorrow, so I'll check back in if things change. I'm not a huge fan of how thin the grip on a P365 feels, and the trigger isn't my favorite, but the X-Macro is an awesome option. 17 rounds in such a small formfactor is dope.
I’ve got 2 M&P 9s and I really enjoy these pistols. Two years ago I got the PDP and PDF, love both of these. The PDP is my go to gun. I have about 15000 rds in this pistol and it has performed flawlessly. PDF is just great as well. I also have the Echelon and it’s one I shoot several times a week and I’d buy it again. Lastly and surprised me how well it shoots is the Sig P320 X Compact. I’m surprised how well I can hit with this small but chunky gun. I’d say right now it’s tied even with my PDP. I’m looking for the 4.7” 320 right now. Thank you! Great reviews.
as past owner of the m&p 9mm first issue the factory grips were hogue-like rubber texture that didnt slip, the 2.0 is way to sandpapery for extended shooting evolutions way to many handguns are made that way now, thank heaven for talon grip people.
The Bul Armory AXE is an amazing firearm. The ported Tomahawk was not for me, but the Hatchet was exactly what I was looking for. I would say it is perfect.
@@Scokat87 You might be right about the Tomahawk FS, but I'm pretty sure he's done something in the Axe line. Either way, I guess he wasn't that impressed!
Great video. It’s hard to argue against any of those I have all of them except I got the p10c and xr920 elite. I’m going to give an honorable mention to the Arex Delta X gen 2. I got the tactical od green model a couple months ago for $450.
Great review. I have an Echlon and really like it. I’m a big fan of chassis based firearms for ease of maintenance. This gun is just great all the way around. I’ve had a lot of internet trolls say “that gun sucks and so do you if you like it” Those are probably airsoft guys or call of duty gamers. Doesn’t matter. Also have a Sig X Macro based on your opinion of them. That is a great EDC.
Have had the Echelon for about a year now and it is by leaps and bounds my favorite duty-size pistol I have ever owned. Everything I have seen indicates the PDP is also a home run, but there’s just not room in my life right now for two primary pistols.
I am a Glock guy, honestly only brand of pistol I own. If I had to switch out of those I would go M&P. I could set those up like I have my glocks set up with different sizes and magazine compatibility
After installation of the Glock Performance Trigger I fell back in love with my Gen 4 Glock 34. My CZ P10f had issues with feeding the 1st round out of a full magazine so it's a range toy. Thank you for the video
My go-to is the Sig P365 series. Whether it's the X, XL, or X Macro, the modularity and aftermarket options are great and it is a great do-all choice. As for the grip texture, the Wilson Combat grip is an affordable option and more aggressive than the stock Sig or you can go for another aftermarket option in metal like the Icarus Precision grips.
My first pistol is the 4” PDP for my USPSA matches. Springco recoil system. Taylor freelance brass back strap and SRO optic. Loved it so much, I picked up the 4.5” OD green PDP and all the same upgrades as my 4”. Also added the $20 trigger spring kit to make the trigger lighter and smoother. Best gun ever!!
I have 4 of the 5 you reviewed so I am in agreement with your choices. I carry the Glock 43X MOS which I love. One more to try out is the Mossberg MC2C 9mm. It is about the same size and weight as the Glock 43X.
Don't own a Glock but I do qualify with the Glock 23 at my job. I wish the trigger were a little better but it seems to be a reliable pistol. I recently bought the Springfield Echelon and absolutely love it. Great reviews!
Check out that Bul Axe Tomahawk for a Glock clone. Unbelievable value as usually from Bul - ported, slide cuts, mag well, and great trigger. Hundreds less than Shadow Systems.
I have four Springfield XDM models and they all shoot great, they are accurate and have been 100% reliable. HS Products makes great guns. Right now my edc alternates between my XDM Elite 3.8 9mm with Green Dot and a CZ P07 in .40, both are great carry options. I added Talon grip to both, the smoother version with a strip of the rough on the front and backstrap.
Yes! The new M&P shield 2.0 is Extremely impressive! Im former LEO and im a Glock boy lmao. That being said. I love the shield and alot of the picks in the video. The Walther, M&P and Canik among other are great choices! Get your hands on and try as many as you can to find witch one works well for you! N like grand thumb says, get out and train.
I’ve owned everything on this list with the exception of the new one from Springfield and I typically carry a 19 mos. I recently got a deal that I couldn’t turn down on a Zev OZ9c and that thing is the flattest shooting experience I’ve had. I replaced the extractor with one from Glock and bought an OEM striker assembly just in case I have an issue with the one from Zev but it’s phenomenal. Highly recommended if you haven’t tried it.
I like my CZ P10’s (C Tac, C & F), S&W M&P 2.0 5”, Archon Type B (Gen 1 now) STI Spartan 1911 (yes 9mm single stack), H&K VP9 Sig P226 Legion RXP are all guns I like better than my Glocks (G417/34, G319, 44 & G517mos)
Having run a plethora in testing over the years, I’m still sticking with my G19s (and frankenglock/Roland Special-inspired hybrid). Took a class with Robert Vogel last weekend. 2 main takeaways: 1: Rob is still blazing fast and a good instructor. 2: it’s more about the user versus the gun. That being said; Caniks had more issues than anything else. If you ever feel like taking a break from gun reviews, I’d like to hear about your take on watches and battle/competition/duty belt setups.
As far as a favorite goes, from your picks, I really like the P365 because of the modularity and ability to go from a 10 round pocket pistol to a sub compact with 17 rounds. Shalotec has outdone the competitors with the modularity capabilities. Honestly I'm still on the fence about getting a new grip module/frame or leaving it as is with the Sharps Bro's and VZ Operator 2 grips. On another note, Shadow Systems is doing something that no other manufacturers are doing when it comes to a carry gun. I'm super intrigued and would love to get my hands on a full size and conceal Shadow Systems.
I have one of the original M&P’s and it’s chambered in .40, I love that gun, it still runs like a freaking champ, but it’s the bedside baby. I carry a Glock 19 g5, which I love, BUT… I just purchased the Walther PDP SD Pro. I haven’t shot it yet so I’m going to the range this weekend to see if she performs as good as she looks and feels. I fell in love with the way it felt, she is now furnished with a rds and a light ready to go. We’ll see if she bumps the G19 to the bedside or if she goes to the safe. Great video!
I like the CZ P01 for it's weight and accuracy. For striker fired, I chose the MR920 Combat w/comp. Follow up shots are easy with it. Below those is my HK VP9SK. Doesn't shoot as well. I'd like to comp it also. When my Commander size Platypus arrives, I'm sure my choices will change. However, never actually shot a Glock.
I own a CZ P-10 F and I love it!! Best pistol I’ve ever shot. My home defense gun. Sweet trigger, accurate shooter, low recoil, and just looks bad ass! 😁
I would agree with you on both the PDP and the M&P. I have had the gen 1 PDP 4.5in for several years and last week picked up the PDP Pro SD Pro and I have to say it feels amazing and shoots great. As for the M&P 2.0. I took one in a trade after never having shot or really even considered M&P. I have to say it quickly became my EDC and one of my favorite guns to shoot.
I've had a carry rotation forever with many great choices. Since X-Macro & 365 AXG Legion came along I never opt for anything else. No need to have winter/summer guns. No need to have wardrobe specific guns. My Macro has become my spare and Legion with Holo EPS Carry, Streamlight TLR-7 in a McKinatec AIWB Universal holster is my only daily carry now.
I have a Glock 19x and I’m a Glock fan but I also own 2 Canik pistols and love them I also own a Tisas pistol and for the low price the trigger is amazing and it runs great
I have an older M&P 2.0 that still has that awful hinge trigger. I love how it shoots, even with the crap trigger, but as a leftie, that slide release is impossible. Not a Glock guy, but your video on the Glock 45 duty setup convinced me to grab one and I absolutely love the setup. A co-worker has a PDP and it is absolutely my next pistol after I finish building up my new SPC9 PDW (gotta take advantage of the quick ATF form 4s we've been seeing this year while I can).
I certainly don’t hate Glocks. But because of extremely limited range of motion on my support hand wrist from being shattered quite a few years ago, the grip angle just doesn’t work for me. Great guns no doubt. But after trying out a few different guns I have settled on the Walther PDP. I’ve trained with them a lot and I’ve come to really love those. Another one is my Canik elite combat. I haven’t tried other Canik’s, but that particular one is just superb! I think the grip angle is pretty similar to the Walther. And after about 4000 rounds it has proven itself reliable as well.
Was a "Glock fanboi" till I shot a Walther PDP and a Walther Q4 tac... both found their way into my life and the Q4 has become my EDC. Still like my Glock just fine but the Walthers are just that much better, grip, ergos, trigger... PDP or Q4 all day... love it. Great video

We are for sure living in the Golden Age of Firearms. So much to choose from lol at this rate, might as well have a different Pistol for every day of the month. My pockets are crying though 😂
Its crazy how much we have now.
Sure as hell is a good problem to have. Hell, I am coming up on 4k rounds through a damn PSA Dagger with zero drama! Lol imagine that. Even the bottom barrel guns have a high level of reliability.
S&W M&P 2.0 Metal OD Green Spec Series is my EDC, Duty, just phenomenal firearm, my go to for everything!
Nice.
Awesome comments. I have similar tastes. I love the CZ P 07 and am planning to get a P 09 soon.
@@edsweeney6843I’ve got the P10c and the P07 and they are great, my P07 could use some Cajun Gun Woks love but I’m going to keep it the way is, they are both fine pistols.
Heck yeah man.
I appreciate that.
The macro is really solid
I love my Canik Elite SC, the trigger is the smoothest I’ve ever used.
Good stuff for sure.
Love my walther pdp
Very solid pistol
I’d add the apx a1 but that echelon is a wonderful shooter.
The apx is a great pistol.
Thanks for watching I appreciate you sharing your experience.
as past owner of the m&p 9mm first issue the factory grips were hogue-like rubber texture that didnt slip, the 2.0 is way to sandpapery for extended shooting evolutions way to many handguns are made that way now, thank heaven for talon grip people.
Talon grips on my Ruger Lcp 2, and my Canik Tp9 sf. Grips and slides.
I agree, I prefer the original M&P grip over the 2.0 grip. They went way too aggressive with it in my opinion.
I haven't noticed that I have put over 1k rounds in a single day through MP's without issues. But my hands are like sandpaper though.
My PDP
Good stuff
I have a Walter PDP compact I would also have a Springfield Ranger Officer Champion in caliber 45 both are great pistols
Very nice
Bul Armory Axe FS Tomahawk ported
This is what Glock SHOULD have built...
How the hell he missed the Bul is a great mystery! It's a $750 steal!
@@baxrok2. I’m not sure he’s reviewed it yet
That arex is a good one as well
VP9…stop playing..but I do love my P365 AXG Legion
Its ok.
Great review. I have an Echlon and really like it. I’m a big fan of chassis based firearms for ease of maintenance. This gun is just great all the way around. I’ve had a lot of internet trolls say “that gun sucks and so do you if you like it”
Those are probably airsoft guys or call of duty gamers. Doesn’t matter. Also have a Sig X Macro based on your opinion of them. That is a great EDC.
Once there are slide and grip module options I thunk it's gonna take off.
Glock may not be the best pistol in the world, but it is definitely the best pistol “platform” in the world.
ehhhh maybe.
Highly recommend CZ P10 and M&P!
Both are great
Canik elite SC.
Good stuff.
CZ P-10C. 2 armor owners that I know carry them and convinced Me to get it. Best gun I’ve ever had.
Glad you like it.
For those with thick hands but short fingers the M&P fits great! It's my favorite and works the best for me.
MP is a great rig.
Lack of APX is disheartening
Agreed, you can never go wrong with a Beretta
There will be a follow up video with 5 more.
Trigger, smooth slide and the way I shoot my p10c. M&P core 9 also
Both are good
P10C is my daily cc
Nice tis good stuff.
P10C OR I have 2 With night sights, I picked up on sale for around 300 each. Followed by BUL Armory Cleaver.
Nice.
Sig denigrates itself by their hatred for its customers. Worst customer service in the industry!
I have heard that a lot.
Have had the Echelon for about a year now and it is by leaps and bounds my favorite duty-size pistol I have ever owned. Everything I have seen indicates the PDP is also a home run, but there’s just not room in my life right now for two primary pistols.
That one came in right
All 5 of these pistols are handsdown much better then a Glock. Glock still hasn't innovated in over 30 years. Their stuck
Say it ain't so lol.
Spelling, it's that important. Refuse take a guy seriously that can't manipulate 5th grade grammar.
@@thefrogking481 If you can't take him seriously, why bother responding? 😀
My all time fave is the CZ P10C and P07. I also love my 4 inch PDP F and a few M&P's.
Both are solid choices.
Walther, Carl Walther
Good stuff.
I am a Glock guy, honestly only brand of pistol I own. If I had to switch out of those I would go M&P. I could set those up like I have my glocks set up with different sizes and magazine compatibility
Nothing wrong with liking what you like.
First here
yeah buddy
Keep up the amazing work my brother
After installation of the Glock Performance Trigger I fell back in love with my Gen 4 Glock 34.
My CZ P10f had issues with feeding the 1st round out of a full magazine so it's a range toy.
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching.
I bought a PDP pro about a year ago, awesome pistol, no feed issues at all even suppressed… my Glocks are doing a lot of sitting around now!
Glad to hear it.
Good stuff there
My first pistol is the 4” PDP for my USPSA matches.
Niiiiiice.
Love my p10f. Seems like everyone is talking about the p10 recently, I believe CZ's gonna have some big updates on the series this year
That would be good
I’ve gone through all these on the list. The only one that got a spot next to my Glock is the CZP10. But I still primarily use my Glocks.
Nice.
Love my P10C, as you said, love the trigger, also has 90% holster compatible with Glock holsters.
Great pistol.
I have the PDP, the XMacro, and the CZ. However I still love me some Glock (G45 and G19).
I have 4 of the 5 you reviewed so I am in agreement with your choices. I carry the Glock 43X MOS which I love. One more to try out is the Mossberg MC2C 9mm. It is about the same size and weight as the Glock 43X.
Nice.
My XD9 was badass just too heavy. I want a compact version of the echelon.
Compact echelon is gonna be dope
Don't own a Glock but I do qualify with the Glock 23 at my job. I wish the trigger were a little better but it seems to be a reliable pistol. I recently bought the Springfield Echelon and absolutely love it. Great reviews!
Trigger and grip angle fixes would make a lot of people happy.
Those are solid as well
Well said!
I've run the zev it wasn't good. But could have been a fluke. Trigger was bad and just want worth half the money
In the past couple of months I got the Walther PDP 4" and just recently the Walther PDP-F 4". Both are impressive.
The pdp is a great pistol
I like my CZ P10’s (C Tac, C & F), S&W M&P 2.0 5”, Archon Type B (Gen 1 now) STI Spartan 1911 (yes 9mm single stack), H&K VP9 Sig P226 Legion RXP are all guns I like better than my Glocks (G417/34, G319, 44 & G517mos)
Good stuff all around
We're severely limited here in CA, but I happen to love my XDs. I know Springfield is a controversial brand, but those guns run really well.
I wish you guys in california got access to everything
Having run a plethora in testing over the years, I’m still sticking with my G19s (and frankenglock/Roland Special-inspired hybrid).
Took a class with Robert Vogel last weekend. 2 main takeaways:
1: Rob is still blazing fast and a good instructor.
2: it’s more about the user versus the gun.
That being said; Caniks had more issues than anything else.
If you ever feel like taking a break from gun reviews, I’d like to hear about your take on watches and battle/competition/duty belt setups.
Big fact .. really good users can perform well with anything reliable.
Good stuff for sure.
Hope you like that pro. Once you get used to it it's nice.
Anyone know if the tactical consideration next level Tshirts run big or snug?
I liked my Walther Q5 so much I got myself the older PPQ also. Now on the hunt for a Q4.
Nice.
CZ P10S with Holosun 507c with ACSS reticle.
Good stuff
I like the CZ P01 for it's weight and accuracy. For striker fired, I chose the MR920 Combat w/comp. Follow up shots are easy with it. Below those is my HK VP9SK.
Doesn't shoot as well. I'd like to comp it also.
When my Commander size Platypus arrives, I'm sure my choices will change. However, never actually shot a Glock.
Nice.
I recently got a new shield plus and it has replaced my Canik as my EDC. I have never held a more comfortable gun. It also just points so naturally.
That's a good thing for sure.
I own a CZ P-10 F and I love it!! Best pistol I’ve ever shot. My home defense gun.
Sweet trigger, accurate shooter, low recoil, and just looks bad ass! 😁
They are great pistols.
Both are solid options.
The macro is a great all around carry.
I have a Glock 19x and I’m a Glock fan but I also own 2 Canik pistols and love them I also own a Tisas pistol and for the low price the trigger is amazing and it runs great
I need to get that new tisas 2011.
Just picked up the P10F !
Niiiiice
I have an older M&P 2.0 that still has that awful hinge trigger. I love how it shoots, even with the crap trigger, but as a leftie, that slide release is impossible. Not a Glock guy, but your video on the Glock 45 duty setup convinced me to grab one and I absolutely love the setup. A co-worker has a PDP and it is absolutely my next pistol after I finish building up my new SPC9 PDW (gotta take advantage of the quick ATF form 4s we've been seeing this year while I can).
That trigger is rough
I really like my Springfield hellcat pro, picked it over a glock 26 & 19.buying the echelon as soon as it hits California
That echelon is turning out to be solid
I certainly don’t hate Glocks. But because of extremely limited range of motion on my support hand wrist from being shattered quite a few years ago, the grip angle just doesn’t work for me. Great guns no doubt. But after trying out a few different guns I have settled on the Walther PDP. I’ve trained with them a lot and I’ve come to really love those. Another one is my Canik elite combat. I haven’t tried other Canik’s, but that particular one is just superb! I think the grip angle is pretty similar to the Walther. And after about 4000 rounds it has proven itself reliable as well.
Yup my wrists hate glock
Was a "Glock fanboi" till I shot a Walther PDP and a Walther Q4 tac... both found their way into my life and the Q4 has become my EDC. Still like my Glock just fine but the Walthers are just that much better, grip, ergos, trigger... PDP or Q4 all day... love it. Great video
Lots to like about the pdp
Another excellent video on a superb channel. The attention to detail and neutral information is very valuable. Please keep up the good work
Much appreciated.
