So many of these videos don't mention this, but it's in the owner's manual; for the passenger side low beam bulb, you can get easier access by using a flat head to remove the one body panel clip then remove the washer fluid reservoir fill neck. Goes back on in reverse. Takes 30 seconds and makes it SO easy.
Just installed them in my 2018 CrV. Installation was super easy. Thanks. Hope they last a long time, keeping the original ones as back-up. I also replaced my high beams also.

2018 CRV high beam is bulb size 9005. Go to the link I provided above and you will be able to choose the 9005 or H11 bulb size. If you want to change out both lo and hi beam, then you need to buy both bulb sizes.

Did the heat from the heatsink do any damage to the neck of the washer fluid tank? That's a tight fit.
It does not get that hot to melt plastic.
I saw somewhere else that these leds can rotate to adjust, if so, shouldnt you adjust the diodes to face the sides as 3 and 9 o clock direction?
Once you install them and twist to lock, the LED chip will face 3 and 9 which is the correct orientation.
Hi, i read that LED bulbs don't work well in projector housing. Did you heard that before? What are your thoughts about it?
They work just fine. In the states, unless the housing was specifically designed for LED or HID bulbs, it’s illegal to install them into reflector housings, as they may scatter the very bright beam into other drivers’ sight, blinding them, temporarily. LED and HID bulbs work best with projector beams.

Yes I have tried many Auxbeam light, and this FT-1 shown in this video is one of the better one because it does not cast much glare. Many LED lights are bright and white but they put out lots of glare to oncoming traffic.
Are you going to put these in your high beams, and foglights too?.. Because it will look odd to not have something similar in the high beams at least
This is a base model so no fog light. Also this is my friend's car so its up to him if he wants to upgrade the hi beam. Upgrading it is also a simple plug and play.

When you install it, you insert it and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn until it stops.

You can also replace the high beam as well if you want. You don't always drive with your high beam on, so the low beam will definitely get used more.

I have 2018 CRV ex trim, Is it fine if I choose (Car Work Box H11 LED Bulbs 20000LM 120W) for low beams and (Car Work Box 9005 LED Bulbs 20000LM 120W) for my low beam. Will this combination work with my car and will I have any problems because this is a high wattage?
I am not familiar with the brand but those ratings can be overly exaggerated. Is the wattage for one or the two bulbs? If it's for one, then that means each LED light consumes 10 amps which is a lot of current for one LED light.

Does the auto high beam still work with led lights? I just recently purchased a 2019 CRV Ex trim, I'm curious that function still works before upgrading to LEDs.
Replacing headlight low beam bulb has nothing to do with high beam function.
What is the use of the decoder? Are the ballast and decoder are the same?
LED lights don't use ballast. Ballast are for HID lights to step up the voltage. These decoders can be used if you get an error on your dash after installing the LED light, or if you have flickering problem.

I just installed it on my 2020 CRV EXL and although the light is bright, there seems to be two beams near the middle that are visibly concentrated.
after installation, the wires from the LED are facing 12 o clock as opposed to the 6 o clock position that you have it on (but it seems like that is the position for it to fit and be able to turn it 1/4).
Does it only have 1 correct initial positioning? do you think thats the reason why I can visibly a more concentrated spot near the middle?
overall it does a good job, but its just a bit annoying when the light is not evenly distributed

It’s a reflector housing. It’s not meant to shone evenly, and it’s not meant to work with high temperature, high intensity lamps.

These LED bulbs created a lot of interference with the FM radio signal in my 2018 SEAT Leon (European version of VW Golf Mk7)
That's interesting you experience that. No issue on this CRV as its a daily drive.
Did you end up needing the Canbus decoder with your CRV?
