Me too. My father had a friend who only had one arm and he would go to big shows like the Big E in Springfield Massachusetts and all of the manufacturers would have huge tents set up with all different model bikes and quads. After these shows closed, he'd take a set of bolt cutters and clip the cheap chains that were around these machines then simply roll them out the back of the tents while no one was there then roll them into the back of his van and take off. No one gave him a second look because how was a one-armed man supposed to steal motorcycles and 3 wheelers/quads? My father would then buy them brand new for $500 apiece (we also got a 1985 Honda ATC 250R and 1985 Suzuki Quad Racer 250 also brand new from the same guy). Ah, the good old days. 😁

I went through 3-4 years of depression, hardly ate, hardly slept, cried full blown tears all day over nothing, over everything. Kept going to the docter having him test me for everything thinking something was cause it. He kept telling me I was depressed. I kept rejection that thinking it had to be something else. Finally in desperation I said ok, I'm depressed what can we do about it. He tryed a few different meds that after a week on each I stopped because I didn't like them. Then He tryed mirtazapin. It's a anti depression, anti anxiety with a sleep aid. First night on it I slept 8 hours. Then started eating again. I made improvements daily and my brain slowly started to work again. It took a few months to fully come back, get all my confidence back, start doing the things I loved again. I'm not the exact person I was before my depression, but almost. I relate some of that to my age now, 63.
There is so many toxins in our air, food, water, they build up over time. Anyway I've suggested that medication to freinds who were going through similar problems, and it worked for them also. I'm still on it 4-5 years later, but I like what it's doing for me. I almost never get jacked up about anything anymore, have a loving relationship with my wife again, life is good again. Talk to your docter, mabey give it a try. Stay away from ANY! Vaccines, their designd to harm these days. My problems came on after a flu vaccine, then got worse the following year after another one. Every time I go to the doctor they try to get me to get caught up on vacanations, I say no. They are trained to convince you their good, and get kickbacks for giving them to you. Above all never ever, ever, get a covid vacs. The Supreme court is getting ready to pull it because it's harmed and killed so many people. If you already did you should do some body cleanses, a few rounds of ivermecton. You will never get it out of your body but it will help. Good luck freind, don't give up.

The green coolant isnt bad in use but it will react over time when sitting still. I have a shifter kart with 1986 CR125 engine and its been eaten through on the waterpump nipple where the hose attaches. I repaired it with industrial waterpump coating epoxy thats used in factories and powerplant turbines 😎

I came across this video, my hats off to you, you are the man!! I watched both videos of this bike, I’m having the same problem with my 2000 KX 80 I just bought, I’m gonna check and do everything you did on this beast, and I know my problem will be solved, and fixed like this beast. Awesome video, I look forward to the next bike you get you’re hands on. I wish I could find them as cheep as you find them . A new fan gene 👍👍🤙🤙

Hot tip for checking spark at the plug… this is for secure ground connection instead of just resting plug on top of the head..get yourself 2 alligator clips and a short length of electrical wire, clips connected to each end of the wire… one clip around the threaded part of the plug, the other plug to a ground connection. At least this way you know for certain that the plug is grounded securely when kicking the motor over.

You are correct 87 was the first year of the rear disc brake on the CR125 and this bike must by a 86 because it has the drum brake.

I love your channel, so much great information. Just consider this, your young and you can breath in a lot of crap without any side effects, but over time it adds up and when your old you might wish you had been more careful. At least invest in a powerful fan to pull the fumes out of the garage when you dont want to open the door. 2 stroke smoke can be quite toxic…

Here's some advice, when you discovered someone had forgotten to put the choke plate back then you should have immediately stripped and rebuilt the motor. Must be dozens of other problems, forgotten parts, incorrectly tightened parts inside the motor.

Nice 1986 the magnesium water pump side cover is probably pitted and rotted out. You keep saying 1987 its definitely a 1986. The 87 was totally different case reed engine rear disc different plastics etc. I used to have an 86 long ago with a ton of pro circuit mods. That bike looks insanely stock.

That is a 1986 model not 87. Beware the clutch cover, these were known to rot out over time. It will 100% need new crank seals and probably a new piston/rings among other odds and ends. Didn't sound like I remembered them to run new, but good work on getting it running.

Someone's probably already said but the choke on these is also a fuel screw.... Up n down for choke clockwise and anticlockwise for fuel mixture..... Standard pilot was fine probably, fuel mixture needed adjusting. Have a look at the carb it's got 2 different sets of arrows for the choke mechanism
