@@obiwankenobi9439 they have a pouch, I forgot what it's called. When you raise baby birds they have a throat and this pouch, you put it in the pouch and that's how they eat.
I love how as soon as you open the window, he immediately jumps on. So sweet.

The babies are getting so big ♥️ … and this, on a practical basis, was one reason why Glen was _such_ a help to Steven during nesting season … Even with his crop stuffed to max fullness, it looks like Steven can barely deliver enough food in one trip to satisfy Ricky & Susan’s growing appetites, much less his own needs. I’m guessing that’s why Steven seems to be rushing back for seconds these days… there’s no Gravy Train Glenny to help out by serving the next course.
StevenPapa, I really do think that you have saved the lives of Steven & the babies - not just by keeping them healthy enough (we hope) to continue to avoid avian flu … but by actually making sure that they have enough to eat, to help them to grow up all big n’ strong n’ good (yes, Ricky & Susan: good! You’re going to be _good_ little gulls …o how we hope it’s so! 😁)
