Example calculating induced current based on change in flux.
Physics on Khan Academy: Physics is the study of the basic principles that govern the physical world around us. We'll start by looking at motion itself. Then, we'll learn about forces, momentum, energy, and other concepts in lots of different physical situations. To get the most out of physics, you'll need a solid understanding of algebra and a basic understanding of trigonometry.
About Khan Academy: Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom. We tackle math, science, computer programming, history, art history, economics, and more. Our math missions guide learners from kindergarten to calculus using state-of-the-art, adaptive technology that identifies strengths and learning gaps. We've also partnered with institutions like NASA, The Museum of Modern Art, The California Academy of Sciences, and MIT to offer specialized content.

初時雨 😂😂😂
He almost dropped the F-Bomb.
unknown none he was gonna say flux man..hahaha
almost
my father grow up poor raised me and my brother poor and my dad moved to texas to get a teaching job and we have been here for a little over 2 years and before my dad could become a teacher he would have to pass this hard test which he took 5 times and failed and made 10$ a hour with 2 kids a never ending pile of deat and a wife who made a little for a while and got a great promotion.anyway we speant a thousand dollars on books and crap that dident do anything and and than we found this.i ve personally never watched a video but my dad makes an extra 35000 dollars a year caus of you great people and my dad has the money know to put me in aau basketball to help me get a collage scollarship and I ve got the bilt I'm 13 (with the spelling skills of a 5 year old as you can see)and almost 6 2.bless you all and bless more deserving people like my father. if your new this is not a waste of time and your future my start here
Good luck!
+Austin Finley Yeah, good luck! :)
Ah, thank you for describing what I need to do about that negative sign/Lenz's Law! Anything requiring use of the right-hand rule always throws me.
I came here to see what was up with the negative in the equation. Thanks for explaining Sal
Its 4:27am and I have a Phys 2 exam in a few hours. I think I'm gonna ace it because of these videos.
4 months later. 5:12 am. Been watching since 11pm and same.
is there any chance I could request a video? I find your videos very interesting and find it very easy to understand the information, I'm a first year nursing student struggling to grasp the concept of the nervous and mechanical processes during inhalation and inspiration (from the brain to the lungs, Medulla And Pons etc) Please could you help? it would be much appreciated! Thank You, Luke, UK
Thank You!
What happens if you go from the 10T to the 5T. Would the current still go in a clockwise direction?
Lol 0:50 😂.
Ousum video👍
Without Khan Academy, homeschooled kids would all be idiots.
***** Khan Academy saved my life.
Voices and explanations > textbook
***** I can understand and use textbook, but I just find it to be more boring.
Sherklastic all kids*
man I love physics......
Perfect!!
What is the difference between faraday and lenz's law
I know it's too late but for anyone else reading this,Lenz's law shows you which direction the current flows while Faraday's law tells you the magnitude
@@JDoactive thanks bro
04:25 I think that negative sign comes from the BACK EMF idea. To reduce it from the supplied voltage in the electric motors...
How can we increase or decrease magnetic field lines??
This one really helped
God bless you
For the last part when you find the direction of the current, it should be the counterclockwise according to RHR !
@ 0:11 khan says "the area of this ring would be four squared meters", i think he meant "...four meter squared"
right?
+baleia He said "four square metres" -- which is another way of saying 4 m^2.
Four meter squared would imply a square with 4 meters on each side.
Great video! Thank you, sir! Can somebody please tell me where I can find similar problems?
can you plz have mathmetical equation
also
flux = BAcos(theta) or if its perpendicular flux = BA (like in the video)
I live very close to you like 1 minutes I'm in your neiborhood no joke
Why can't Sal let the current flow in the direction of the right hand? it seems like natural to me.
Salute man!!!
I have discovered that Faraday's law of induction is unintentional disinformation. In the case of a static magnetic field, if a circuit linked by the field expands, thereby increasing the flux linking the circuit, Faraday's law states that the changing flux produces an emf in the circuit. This is false; the changing flux linkage has no effect. There is an emf in the circuit of the same value as predicted by Faraday's law. It is motional emf due to the motion of the conductor of the circuit through the magntic field. Thus, Faraday's law is false. There are also exceptions to Faraday's law, as pointed out in The Feynman Lectures on Physics. Faraday's law is just math, not physics. It is a case of correlation, not causation. Faraday's law encompasses the Maxwell-Faraday law, which is one of Maxwell's equations. That part is true. That is why Faraday's law is like disinformation. It is partially true and partially false.
Tesla never agreed with Lenz on more than one equation
perpendicularly
This is insane
Flux - something sci-fi writers loves to mention, but doesn't know what means
LOL
0:50 lol
first
And this my friends is how an induction motor works
First
What the Flux :p
Sorry, but Lenz is wrong. Please remember that there have been bad laws in the past.
