Lots of takeaways from this, the tower bridge is often mistaken for the London bridge. London bridge is a very plain looking bridge while tower is the one we all know. And I love how no one corrected Jack the numerous times he mentioned the coliseum being in Greece lol
FYI, (from the northwest here), WinCo foods is an employee owned grocery store that is literally an acronym for the main states it's located in (Washington, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon). Kinda surprised to see it in Texas tbh.
There's at least four in DFW: the one in Richland Hills that was in the video, one in Arlington off I20, one in Keller off I35, and one in south Fort Worth, though I don't remember exactly where that one is
You can't see the Great Wall of China from space, not really. Even from the ISS, you'd be hard pressed to locate it. But from the moon? You'd be hard pressed to make out the continents accurately.
I was actually surprised by the Buchanan Mine/Consol Energy sign not being in Pennsylvania, since President Buchanan was from there and the Penguins play in what used to be the Consol Energy Arena.
Schloss Neuschwanstein is the giant castle that was onscreen before you goofs started the game. I drive up and down that exact spot on State St. in SLC twice a day. That was weird. HOLY SHIT, I grew up in St. George, UT, and drove down Sunset, past that bowling alley, to high school every day. I barely recognized it with the weird wide angle lenses. St. George is actually a gorgeous city, right next to Zion NP. Between landing in Worcester for the WGI boys---who blew it, haha---and all the hometown Utah places, this has been one of the funnest GGG episodes yet. (Sorry, Jimmy and Joez.) I loved how much fun Zo was having. Goof, Gaff, and Geaff hit it out of the park.
I used to play the Famous Places map all the time in 2015!! It's how I learned so much about Europe and architecture. I remember a majority of these places as they've been on my bucket list for YEARS. I got a lot of them right and was shouting through my screen haha.
instead of commenting that some random farmer discovered the terra-cotta warriors outside of Xi'an China in the 70s, I'm just gonna say that geoguessr is a great delivery device for Jimmy and Jake and the other Jomboy characters. Good vid, fellas! Always a fun time!
Calle is the most frequent generic name for streets in Spain. Rue is the typical name for streets in France. Montmartre is a famous section in Paris, France. It's on a hill & next to the area with the Moulin Rouge.
From Utah near SLC and I love Himilayan Kitchen, crazy to see somewhere I know exactly where it is! Edit: Another Utah?? Second I saw 435 and the red rock mountains I knew it was St. George!
Other than Buckingham it's got to be the most famous castle in Europe. Back in the 90s when those 3-D puzzles were all the rage I had one of Neuschwanstein.
I was sscreaming at you guys when you were on Opa Locka, FL.....I was born and raised here in Miami and was SCREAMING at yall LOLOLOLOL I knew that one down to if you had only looked at the street
and no, of course it's not unrelated or a chain...they needed to expand to a new site because their collection in NY was too large, and so Frank Gehry got the job to design the one in Bilbao. The building has helped turn the local Basque economy around
Western Turkey isn't the Mesopotamia. The etymology of Mesopotamia is roughly the "land between rivers" w/ mesos meaning middle and potamos meaning river. The rivers being the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Iraq.
I shop at that Winco store in Texas. I've eaten at Frijoles a bunch of times. I was sitting here yelling "NORTH RICHLAND HILLS NEAR FORT WORTH!" That's crazy y'all got dropped there lmao.
"Not the good one kind" "Look at the conifers on the mountaintops" "All those k states" "What is a quarry" "Kentuckyzo" "The communities are a lot more put together out there cause they got a later start." Uhh espana¿ can we get Jake, Zach, we got ice, Matti and Joez?? True wet dream team
Zo brought nothing to the table (no surprise, I already knew how horrendous Zo was at geography), but at least Jack was serviceable. So it wasn't the trainwreck I expected, with Jake as the conductor
its crazy how little these guys know about the real world and how much they know about sports. why do they think ancient ruins would be in the capitol of a city lmao
Jacks knowledge base is clear here: knows about Tree's, does not know about the difference between Pantheon and Parthenon
"If it's not the Colosseum I don't think it's Greece" jesus christ Jack
This episode was full of similar gems, like "There's Roman numerals, it must be Greece."
Lots of takeaways from this, the tower bridge is often mistaken for the London bridge. London bridge is a very plain looking bridge while tower is the one we all know. And I love how no one corrected Jack the numerous times he mentioned the coliseum being in Greece lol
Tower Bridge is the one with towers. Who would have thought?
That German castle was the inspiration for Disneys Cinderella Castle.
I think this is where Jimmy's "Black Forest vibes" would have actually come in handy!
Totally need more of these relaxed geo-guesser episodes. Not to take away from the competitive ones. Both great.
The absurdity of this episode was on a whole nother level. definitely need this type of energy sprinkled in between the usual crew more often.
The Great Wall is not visible from space lol.

i love jacks staring contest during the ad read

Jake's never felt older when they brought up Wendy Wu Homecoming Warrior.
His face literally aged like Ben Button.

Guys.. u can see the miles of trees from the photo and you chose the desert for the great wall
The Neuschwanstein castle is the most famous castle in the world Jake! It’s the castle Walt Disney based Cinderella’s on.
Calle is the most frequent generic name for streets in Spain. Rue is the typical name for streets in France. Montmartre is a famous section in Paris, France. It's on a hill & next to the area with the Moulin Rouge.
No one saw John Wick 4, huh
Round 2, first location, I was like wasn’t that the finale spot? Lol
I was thinking the same thing!
The Basilica in France is where they filmed the duel in John Wick 4
The US part was so fun!
Thank you guys so much for doing US challenge, that was a lot of fun to watch. It seems like the game is so biased against the US its not even funny.
I really enjoyed this ep, doing the online modes every ep was getting kinda dry, having single player modes every two weeks would be a great mix up
The castle is the inspiration for Disney Cinderella castle. It's pretty famous. Didn't know where exactly in Germany it was though.
Maverick gas station is always a Utah give away for future reference
From Utah near SLC and I love Himilayan Kitchen, crazy to see somewhere I know exactly where it is! Edit: Another Utah?? Second I saw 435 and the red rock mountains I knew it was St. George!
“Wall of China, Great one” - Jack😅
this game is wild - thanks for the goofs and gaffes
Neuschwanstein Castle is only a little famous. It's the castle that inspired the Disney castle 😂
Other than Buckingham it's got to be the most famous castle in Europe. Back in the 90s when those 3-D puzzles were all the rage I had one of Neuschwanstein.
Also anyone who travels to Munich or Salzburg usually goes on a day trip to Neuschwanstein
I gotta say I'm quite impressed with your US rounds. Well done, gentlemen.
I like how they completely missed the texas flag at 35:07 but still manage to get guess the right spot
Shoutout to the ad schedule and copy that wasn't edited out xD
There are 7 or 8 Guggenheim museums around the world. They’re all museums that were established by the Solomon Guggenheim Foundation.
I was screaming Richland hills at 35:00. I used to go there ll the time as a kid
OMFG, that Texas one is literally right down the street from me! That was so shocking to see. 😂
Got me screaming OPA LOCKA and scaring the dog. Sorry Angel.
Wow I was literally driving on Lincoln St in Worcester TODAY
I was sscreaming at you guys when you were on Opa Locka, FL.....I was born and raised here in Miami and was SCREAMING at yall LOLOLOLOL I knew that one down to if you had only looked at the street
the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao appears...first thoughts: Australia, the Middle East, and Asian...
and no, of course it's not unrelated or a chain...they needed to expand to a new site because their collection in NY was too large, and so Frank Gehry got the job to design the one in Bilbao. The building has helped turn the local Basque economy around
Live near the Texas loc. freaky to see somewhere I recognize instantly.
Next time you’re in town go to Babes fried chicken. Greatness
@33:40 you guys passed my buddies house in Redmond :D
Play the U.S. Colleges and University's map with Jim
This episode was chill af, loved the vibe. Awesome work gods.✌️
Neuschwanstein is the Disney castle
Western Turkey isn't the Mesopotamia. The etymology of Mesopotamia is roughly the "land between rivers" w/ mesos meaning middle and potamos meaning river. The rivers being the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in Iraq.
Love the video + GeoGodGuys.. top 10 dream team of all time.
Jack comin in clutch with the Royals tee 🙏 TY TY TY
More USA! This was a lot of fun.
these guys make me feel like a genius
At 12:44 wasn’t that the place where the duel took place in John Wick 4?
Are we sure Zach isn't in concussion protocol? You can't have Zo on time watch while he's playing.
I shop at that Winco store in Texas. I've eaten at Frijoles a bunch of times. I was sitting here yelling "NORTH RICHLAND HILLS NEAR FORT WORTH!" That's crazy y'all got dropped there lmao.
Croatia is lit Jake you guys saw a guy wearing a Croatian soccer jersey btw with the famous checkered pattern was a good clue
The Colosseum is in Rome, Italy, not Greece. haha
watching this video definitely helped with my inferiority complex.
For the first 48 seconds of this video, what was Jack doing? Have a stroke?
Need we got ice on a lot more!
We Got Ice? More like WE GOT LOST!
I can't be the only who recognise Sacré-Cœur Church from John wick 4
Great episode!!!!
"Not the good one kind"
"Look at the conifers on the mountaintops"
"All those k states"
"What is a quarry"
"Kentuckyzo"
"The communities are a lot more put together out there cause they got a later start."
Uhh espana¿ can we get Jake, Zach, we got ice, Matti and Joez?? True wet dream team
Wait isn’t the Saint Pierre cathedral the one used in John wick??
How famous is the Schloss Nurffschnurffshurf?!?!? It's THE castle. It's what the Disney castle and Hogwarts are modeled from.
I grew up in Opa-Locka (technically).
13:07 Rubble
Neuschwanstein is one of the most famous castles in the world...
Bold strategy to pair Jake up with guys who aren't knowledgeable, funny, or charismatic.
Just a weekly reminder you can make the map larger.
Was krakow just famous for WWII?
is the challenge in france the place from john wick 4?
"no one was getting that"
decidedly false lmao
Disney fans are gonna wreck y'all for not thinking Schloss Neuschwanstein wasn't famous
Also, Germans 😂
Zo brought nothing to the table (no surprise, I already knew how horrendous Zo was at geography), but at least Jack was serviceable. So it wasn't the trainwreck I expected, with Jake as the conductor
What was that pronounciation of Bayonne, ya big galook?
They know their states! Beyond that....ehhhhh
14 min in and this is brutal
Props for turning it around though. the last round was fun
It gets so much better. Sort of.
L team. Get my girlfriend om the show 😂
its crazy how little these guys know about the real world and how much they know about sports. why do they think ancient ruins would be in the capitol of a city lmao
