小笠原諸島の父島では極大時には台風7号の影響を受けると予想されたので、晴れている8月12日0時30分から2時30分に撮影をしたタイムラプスです。
全天でたくさんの流星が見られ火球も観察されましたが、残念ながら放射点方向を向けたカメラには明るい流星はほとんど捉えられませんでした。

Perseid Meteor Shower 2024
The peak time will be predicted to be affected by Typhoon Ampil in Chichijima, The Bonin Islands. So this is a time lapse taken from 0:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. on August 12th with clear sky.
Many meteors and a few fireballs were seen across the sky. Unfortunately, the camera pointed toward the radiant point could not capture any bright meteors.

City nights are so bright it can be hard to see the stars, isn’t it.
Especially Las Vegas is the city that never sleeps.
I'm lucky to live on an isolated island with no light pollution.
