Chris is very well entitled to be proud of what he's done and who he is, regardless of the outcome of this. If he does end up in Spain the US government should provide him security and I hope he can come home safe.
It's sad that Spain has put itself in a position where they have to do this and embarass themselves for the sake of a gangster state. There's no way they don't know what situation is.
