iPhone 15/15+ are the most compelling and value for money offerings that we've seen for years from the base models, it's basically an iPhone 14 Pro, definitely the one to get.
I just upgraded from the 11 and absolutely love the 15! it is significantly better than my old phone and I feel like I fell in love all over again haha it helps that I just learned how to customize app icons and widgets
I’ve been an Apple fanboy for a while now and I think the regular 15 lineups are the ones that worth to get. Dynamic island, camera, USB type C, the major upgrades than compared to what we got on regular iPhone 14 last year.
Yeah I mean 60 hz is shitty, but on iOS the software works so flawlessly that 60 hz still looks extremely clean. I have a Mac book pro 2021 and I definitely notice the 120 hz refresh rate when I am doing things on it, but still I am content with 60 hz on my phone. @@krystianstepien5835
Just wanna reference how the 15’s color scheme is the same as the iPhone 5 just in a more pastel and modern design. I love this subtle nod to an amazing color way.
I upgraded my green 13 to the black 15 plus.. this is my 3rd iPhone overall and I have to say so far I am extremely impressed ! I picked this one over the new 16 that just came out lol
I picked a blue 15 and upgraded all the way from an 8 Plus that I owned for four years so there’s a world of differences for me. It’s my 8th phone overall in 18 years I’ve owned phones and 5th smartphone I’ve owned (all iPhones) which I was more impressed than anything the 16 had to offer.
I agree, I think this year is one of the most impressive color schemes yet. There were amazing colors in other sets other years, but some were amazing while others were a matter of personal preference. This year, however, I think the muted frosted style of these colors really adds something elegant and rich to the look while also being very Zen at the same time. All the colors look amazing this year. My favorite color in general is green, and I love their minty green one, so that's the one I ordered. The last time Apple got the color green right for a phone was iPhone 11 Pro, that thing was beautiful, not so much with the iPhone 13's green.
Finally a review about the base model! I have a 12 pro max. And I usually get the pro max models because I swear I need the features lol. But I’m a sucker for their minty green and was having some serious fomo thoughts about not getting the pro max this time around. But this review helped me realize the 15 plus has everything I need and I get the cute color 😊
The regular flagship has improved enough now that I'm seriously considering moving from the Pro Max line to the Plus line. The camera sensors have improved enough that I wouldn't miss the telephoto lens. I'm not a pro user. I also picked up an iPad since my last iPhone upgrade so I rely on my phone less. Plus I'm still not sure how I feel about them replacing the tried and true mute switch with a button. Honestly, for somebody who doesn't own one, the event made me interested in picking up an Apple Watch for the first time even though I don't rely need one as I don't get out much.
I agree completely. Have always bought the pro model but the base has now got to such a level I actually prefer it. Despite the new Pro being a titanium/aluminium combo, I still prefer the much lighter weight of the base model. As for the 60 hz refresh rate personally I don’t care for it. I have a Sammy S23 and have the higher refresh turned off as I can’t really tell a massive difference and I prefer the better battery life. Fair enough if you game a lot or watch 4kvideos but personally I think it’s more placebo affect. Cameras and processors now on the base are so good again I just don’t think the pro is worth it no more. Each to their own though…. 15 all the way for me now.
I'm currently still using an iPhone XR. I plan on upgrading to an iPhone 15, but I'm torn between the 15 and the 15 plus. I'm not sure if the plus will be too big for me, but I do like the extended battery life it gets. I'm probably going to be checking out the phones in person to see which one is more comfortable to hold (I have small hands).
I’m also coming from the XR… Actually my wife and I are both coming from using an XR. Also getting a iPhone 15 but the regular one… it’s good enough for me. But Im getting my wife the PRO MAX cause she has been complaining about camera performance in comparison to her peers for the past year… we’ve held onto these since 2019…. It’s time for a change. If you do carry a purse, and don’t mind it being in that purse - the only other thing I can suggest is to go to your local mall and phone store/kiosk and play around with a PLUS or PRO MAX which is what I told my wife to do… to get used to the size.
@@TheRealK6 I’ve had my phone since 2018. The size is pretty comfortable to me so I think the 15 is going to be better for me. I do plan on checking the display models out in the store this weekend. The camera on the base models is going to be a nice upgrade also. Plus I’m excited to have storage space again!
I also have had my XR since it launched I basically got it a month after they launched. I think I will get the 15 as well, but I am going to get the max for the battery life and bit extra screen size since I watch a lot of streaming services on it while on the bus to work and at work break times. The xr is probably the longest I’ve ever held onto any phone before an upgrade. It’s not the best tech now obviously but it’s been reliable and rugged this whole time.

I think the 15 and 15 plus this year are actually a better value than the Pro models. I’ve already seen some say the Pro models have bad battery life and overheating issues. So if the regular 15s don’t have those issues then they are hands down the better choices.
The 15 was the biggest update I seen in a while but my 13 is still just fine and considering I just got it back in November lol I think I’ll wait and see what next year holds
I upgraded to a iPhone 15 plus from a iPhone SE 2020. I don’t use my phone for a whole lot besides calls texting UA-cam Netflix and just streaming in general and taking pictures and research. I’m happy with my iPhone 15 plus I don’t plan on upgrading for another couple years I think the iPhone 15 plus is a great choice.
I almost got the 14 instead of the 15 from my iPhone 12. I like the 15! It really feels so premium for a non-pro version! Only complaint is that my blue looks like white for sure! I put a case on it so it doesn’t matter. The camera and outdoor screen is nice!

The green and pink is catching my eye. Mostly the green it's one of 3 of my favorite colors. I love my deep forest green for my S22+ samsung galaxy lol.

upgrading from my iPhone 12 Pro, to the BLACK iPhone 15 base model. One of the biggest reasons I am upgrading is to have a lighter phone, better camera, dynamic island, better performance/battery life. Future proof probably past the iPhone 20. The iPhone 12 Pro is still a wonderful phone and I am hoping to sell it for 400 dollars. so that will pay at least half of my iPhone 15 off.

I would say the 15 and 15 plus are a substantial upgrade, but the pro’s are not. If you have something from the 14 or 13 series definitely don’t upgrade. However if you have and older phone and you want to get something from the 15 lineup I would recommend the 15 or 15 plus for most people. Or go get a used iPhone 14 pro or pro max.

People going on about 120hz. I had a 14 pro and yes it’s very nice but I broke my 14 Pro and went back to an iPhone XS for a month and even this phone is plenty fast. iPhones are so optimised 60hz on an iPhone 15 will be plenty snappy. Picking up my 15 base on Friday in blue :)

I’ve been watching a lot of iPhone 15 reviews and I’m not super impressed with the color lineup. I know Apple hates pink and I probably will never get THE pink I want but I guess I’ll have to see it in person. It looks milky, almost white. I’m currently using the 14 pro max in deep purple and I have 1TB so I’m not looking to upgrade, I just want another phone to use for business purposes. The 14 will still be great for the next couple of years at least. Try to stick to it until Apple launches something radically different.
Iphone 16 will have next features: titanium for base models and aluminum case for pro models. Groundbreaking changes is the key to Apple.

I’ve been watching a lot of iPhone 15 reviews and I’m not super impressed with the color lineup. I know Apple hates pink and I probably will never get THE pink I want but I guess I’ll have to see it in person. It looks milky, almost white. I’m currently using the 14 pro max in deep purple and I have 1TB so I’m not looking to upgrade, I just want another phone to use for business purposes. Thank you Justine for always keeping it real and simple when it comes to anything Apple.
