Oh my, what a fabulous podcast Jeanette, you always have such gorgeous crafty goodies to share! I love your reindeer and pretty little croc, both adorable. Of course, you could always solve your collection of cuties nakedness problem by knitting them all hats and scarves! Your new project bags all look super, as your fabric choices are just lush and Tim really does seem to have a fab talent for yarn dyeing. Love seeing my notification telling me that your blog is up. All your makes are lush. Somewhat of a de ja vu for me with your news about Tim and his surgery. Nov 2016 my husband thought he was going to have a stent but instead had triple heart bypass surgery. Having to isolate for 6 weeks afterwards may be the best thing for you both, to fully rest and be kind to yourself. My thoughts are with you and your family.

@@craftycleggscreations My other half is now doing just fine. It is a big op as we know but I think he found the recovery period longer than he thought it would be - and harder. (a man thing perhaps?) You will both get through it I'm sure and you will have support from the Cardiac team. Just know that it will take as long as it takes, small steps and then it will become a mere memory.
Will be thinking of you both in the coming weeks. You will both also be in my nightly prayers 🙏😘

Wonderful podcast where you shared some very nice things. Rudolph looked amazing, although I kept thinking of milk and white chocolate. I’ve crocheted the same crocodile, which I love. I bought the same gnome pattern, and love it so much that I’m currently working on my 3rd.......thinking ahead for Xmas 2021, and gifting to friends.
I too was a vanilla sock knitter but after seeing Gayna from cuckoo land saying that the Lola sock from so sweet violet was really easy I bit the bullet + bought the pattern. This sock is soo simple + easily memorable. Its a 4 row repeat + I have made 9 pairs of them!
Hi Jeanette, I’ve got the Addi turbo 9 inch circular. One of the needles is a little bit longer and it makes such a difference for holding it comfortably. I prefer 2.25 tho and they don’t seem to do it that small. So use chiaoGoo’s too.. the roving is to stuff the badger with. I’ve got the kit too and it will have to wait til i’ve got more time, plus I’m a bit nervous to start. I don’t want to mess it up!! Best wishes to Tim xx
Yes , those Addis are fab and I so wish they made them in 2.25 as that’s my go to size for socks - I bought the Craftpod kit for my daughters Christmas stocking - she has only ever done a cheapie kit before so I am guessing if she needs help or doesn’t fancy it , it will come back to me ( can’t say I will mind though 😂)

We have had 10 days where we, Australians have double donut 🍩 🍩 which means no new Covid19 and no deaths. 🙏🇦🇺🍩🍩🐶🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦🧦 pairs of socks since July! while we were in total lockdown here in Victoria the southern state on the mainland.

I tried to add this to my previous comment but I can't find it. I looked up "beanie toe" as it was a new one to me and that's what I would call a "round(ed) toe" where you would have something like "row 1: (k8, k2tog) six times. row 2 and all even rows: K1 round plain. row 3: (k7, K2tog) six times" and you get a spiral and evenly round shape, like the top of a beanie. I thought your toe looked like a "wedge toe", with two decreases on either side of the foot/toes

Oh I like the sound of the 12 days of Christmas felt work, May I ask if it’s a make a long or a kit. I love felt work, it’s so relaxing, my blanket stitch need improving but I’m trying not to be to hard on myself.
