Thank you for making it! Young Canadians can know more about it and helping them to share what is like to be a student at the Royal Military College of Canada! Please make more VLOG and your day to day basis!
I graduated from the Nigerian Defence Academy we also have tri service (Army,Navy and Airforce) training together. Freshmen as called clowns or crabs, sophomore are called 2nd termers, junior are called mandelas, senior are called godfathers and passing out cadets are called white men.
I graduated from RMC in the late 2010s. I went on an exchange trip to West Point, and I think the only point of having us going to West Point was to boost our morale. RMC might be bad, but West Point was even worse. Sorry fellow American Officer Cadets. There are some things that I'm jealous of: like having swords for all 4 years of academy. We were only allowed to carry swords on our graduation parade.
Yeah, well I'm an Army Cadet from Hamilton. I'm going to stay there until whatever age it is to apply for RMC, and I'm going to try for an officer as well. Best of luck with your career.
Is it true that West Point cadets are allowed to leave every Sunday to go to church? Because I live a half and hour away and was wondering if I were to go there if I can go to the church in my hometown. Also is a 3.5 gpa,1200 sat, 30 act, and Eagle Scout a competitive application as a solider or no?
Hey, I got into USMA and USAFA and it really depends on extracurriculars, other notable academic achievements, number of AP/IB courses, sports achievements, the fitness test, and leadership roles. I can't comment on your gpa due to lack of info on how competitive your school is and course load, but your GPA could definitely be better, although I had a friend get into Annapolis with a 3.5-3.6ish gpa. However your standardized testing scores aren't that great, try to brush up on the material and test again. I did take the old sat so take my score on that with a grain of salt but it was a 2250/2400 and had a perfect ACT. Anyway, hope this helped a little, good luck.
Nikhil Sridharan Thank you! And yes I know my gpa isn't that great. But that's my gpa right now. I'm going to try to lift it to a 3.7 after I graduate. And I go to very competitive high school in north Bergen New Jeresey. As for the SAT and ACT I'm gonna try to achieve higher. As for extra stuff I know Eagle Scout isn't going to lift this on it's own but I hope to become a club president and start up another club in my school (Military History Club) where I especially want to help out local veterans that are in need.
Nikhil Sridharan Also I plan on applying as a solider on active reserve while in college. I heard that as a solider you can have a greater application if you of course prove yourself worthy in the Army and have average or above gpa and sat/act scores. My dream is becoming a engineer officer. Again thank you for your advice and reply!!!
Has he become Hokage yet?
