It’s a feeling, he the prime example of why something just being on paper doesn’t make it what it is on an album. His personality is totally what makes it, I feel like his reaction to stove god is how a lot of people react when they hear WSG or Danny brown for the first time. I think it’s IMPOSSIBLE TO ARGUE his pen honestly. Bro has some insanely dope likes his imagery is great. I don’t see how he could say stove god is one dimensional but Griselda isn’t I mean they do the exact same thing practically, ESPECIALLY westside like they talk about the same exact shit every song.
“You got collage work, they shit mixed with they shit, mixed with his shit, my shit Cinderella slipper” IN WHAT WORLD IS THAT NOT RIDICULOUSLY FIRE?? I know alot of rappers underground and otherwise, I don’t think anyone else right now is delivering those TYPE of punchlines. Like this dude wasn’t picked up by busta rhymes on accident, Roc marci didn’t do this whole album on accident, this dude is somethin special I knew it the first time I heard it. Honestly the best way I heard someone describe it is he’s like if Drake talked about flipping Coke lmao like nobody incorporates singing in the same way he does
To me his charisma and voice reminds me of a funny hustler you would kick it with on a random day in someone's apartment somewhere as a teenager who really brings the life back to the party. Outside that I personally love his bar work but it ain't nothing to crazy unless your feeling that vibe real heavy in that moment I think. The random shit fire to I'm glad you brought that part of his style up cause I do feel like it has intention to some degree
You don’t get it that’s perfectly fine lol people don’t get Dooms sound either but if you don’t hear it then what can I say. This nigga Stove is mad talented and this project is incredible. He compliments the drug talk in a bar heavy but melodic way. Very unique and refreshing to hear
“It’s all coming back to me now….” - Celine D. This was very entertaining, but he’s def an acquired taste. I think you’ll at least enjoy him in the future now that you know the deal. In his defense you don’t really care for many choruses. Thanks for posting
a lot of his lines especially on features are hilarious and his delivery really makes them stick because a lot of them aren't great tbh. love this album but i completely get it
💀💀💀 the difference is there are good moments on this album… that Total Xanarchy album is mind numbingly terrible. Kinda like the time I reacted to Eminem’s last 2 projects.
Yeah Total Xanarchy is WAY fucking worse. I'm just saying this entire reaction felt like someone slowly dying on the inside like I was with Total Xanarchy lmao.
Lol his storytelling and "moral of story" approach told through cocaine metaphors and innuendos is what makes him and this album very special. It's not for everybody lol much like Pusha T. It's strictly for those who are familiar with that background.
I struggle with this dude same way I struggle with Flee Lord. Not necessarily comparing the two, I’m just saying them two are in the space I love but they don’t do much for me. I like this album though and I think it has a lot to do with the Roc Marc production.
😂😂😂😂😂 at this whole review. I get "it" bro'. Just not your cup of tea. I came here after seeing your react to the new Flygod album. Wanted to see why you weren't feeling Stovegod. Personally, I became a fan of his after hearing him on the Flygod is an Awesome God 2 album. I like his charisma, hook game, and sometime unorthodox style. I give you respect for at least sitting thru the whole project. There's rappers out there like Logic, Wale, Lil Uzi, Lil Baby etc whose projects I'm not even gonna sit thru to try to "understand" their appeal. Their music is just wack to me, and that's that.
If you haven’t seen certain shit it’s hard to relate . This is a CLASSIC album. You don’t even hear the story in every song. This was kinda pointless to even react to.
you definitely missed the point. It’s not “UNDERSTANDING HIS CONTENT” cuz I already know what it is, it’s more understanding what’s his purpose artistically and what he brings to the table. C’mon now💀
@@MINO ...if he doesn't understand where he stands artistically then he doesn't UNDERSTAND THE ALBUM...you dudes are so eager to act like you get someone what you're saying sounds stupid lol. His name is STOVE god COOKS...his lane is cocaine rap. Everything he betrays is what his music is. If you don't like stove you don't like rap because most rappers say he's underrated and his bars are tough...what are YOU defending on this guy's review🤔
Not for everybody......classic in my book.....
On kami!

This album 🔥🔥🔥 ..it not for your pink face 👀😈

Completely disagree with ur take on this, but I appreciate u trying to understand the Stove God lol
A certified classic

It hit harder when you from the streets
Best album of 2020 by far
Lmao if you don’t like Stove after this there is no saving you
yeaaaah… there’s no saving me ig😅
a lot of his lines especially on features are hilarious and his delivery really makes them stick because a lot of them aren't great tbh. love this album but i completely get it
he's like worst era lil wayne but on good beats and energetic
I disagree but I respect the effort
This shit is hilarious
This reaction reminds me when I listened to Total Xanarchy. It feels like a person experiencing a mental breakdown via music.
💀💀💀 the difference is there are good moments on this album… that Total Xanarchy album is mind numbingly terrible. Kinda like the time I reacted to Eminem’s last 2 projects.

Classic album for sure
this shit got me tears.
the price don’t change but i could work wichu
Like half now and half later

That plus his unique blend of melody & boom bap *chief kiss*
I wish I could see what you mean. All I hear is nonsensical rap referencing what he’s seen with annoying and grating singing. But to each their own!
I struggle with this dude same way I struggle with Flee Lord. Not necessarily comparing the two, I’m just saying them two are in the space I love but they don’t do much for me. I like this album though and I think it has a lot to do with the Roc Marc production.
The Roc Marci production saved the project for me… even though SGC had moments, but the production was the highlight.
Stove is the man …you dont understand because you dont know that life . No hard feelings

I really wanna know what’s non-sensical about his bars .. You missed all the doubles , you missed all the metaphors …
U have never sold drugs that's why you don't understand lol
Only hustlers will understand this.
Not really if you can only rap about cooking crack or cocaine that doesn't make you great
I disagree but I understand where you coming from though lol
If you haven’t seen certain shit it’s hard to relate . This is a CLASSIC album. You don’t even hear the story in every song. This was kinda pointless to even react to.
Damn, I know music is subjective but how do you not feel cocaine cologne. Lol
Waouw *Wario voice*
Oh my… nah that’s the one 🤣💀
@@MINO 🤣🤣🤣
I’m geeking lol this is one of the best albums I ever heard but you’re funny. I’m getting a good laugh a from you not enjoying these bars
Yeah bro you cannot relate to any of this.. crazy how one can be so out of tune.

🤔 wtf...you liked pinata but you can not understand this album??? That doesn't even make sense lol
