Unfortunately based off Tinas question to bette, the looks she was giving bette and Pippa, then her all of a sudden not wanting to hear the answer to the question she asked bette. I'm going to take a guess....Tina is there to have that I still love you and I can't shake you talk. But this time, bette won't fall for the bs, and she will tell Tina that yes, I still love you, BUT I've finally become happy or comfortable moving on and I would love to see where me and Pippa will end. That's my guess. All I know is I'm sick of Tina continuing to pull this move everytimr she gets to have her experiences while bette suffers and begs. I like Bette and Pippa together. I really do. This is probably the healthiest relationship I've ever seen Bette in. And then there's Tina. Tina, Tina....Fcking Tina. I believe at one point Bette and Tina were soulmates. But something shifted in the cosmos so that has changed. I think Pippa is her new soulmate. She is where Bette should be and I hope that's where she stays.
And the fact that she felt a connection to Pippa through her work all these years before meeting her. I def think Bette was blindsided by her immediate being “handled” they way she was by Pippa. Threw her completely off her game. We have not seen Bette be this affected by anyone else on the show.
I truly hope for Pippa sake that Bette doesn’t cast her aside like did Jodi Lerner in the original series because that would be really shitty of her to do.

I put this comment somewhere, but it seems fitting here as well. Aside from them dating, Bette should feel obligated to go because Pippa is her artist. I just can't imagine that Bette is going to miss the show for a conversation that can be had later. (Although, they tried to make us believe that she wasn't going before Angie talked her into it).

Well, I have an opinion: Tina and Bette are still in love, and yes it is a fact. But the relationship between Bette and Pippa is amazing and healthy, they complete each other.
I really hope they explore the PiBette relationship, because one thing is for sure, Bette never knew how to deal with someone like her, she always liked the dependence, either emotional or financial, of her partner. And Pippa is completely independent and formidable, and I think that could be explored for the third season.
And Tina, I believe, is open for now until they can reconcile Laurel Holloman's schedule with the series for good. But I hope they don't ruin TiBette's story and the possibility of new beginnings for Pibette.
You can continue to love someone and care about someone you were once in love with and imo that’s where Tina and Bette stand. Since the writers of Gen Q are challenged by Laurel Holloman’s career as a full time world class artist and mother and the restraints the pandemic presents, I’m thinking these characters will remain apart and be seen as co-parents. Circumstances like theirs happens in real life all the time when parents divorce. The Bette and Tina of Gen Q have matured and are in different spaces than when we saw them in the L Word. The world has changed and the two of them have, too.
Pippa and Bette literally see each other eye to eye. Their relationship is the first time in the L Word universe that a romantic relationship between two Black lesbian women has been depicted. Until now the Black lesbian community experience in both series has been ignored except for a hint during the Pink Ride in the L Word and Eddie’s poker game in Gen Q.
I’d rather see the show give a hint of reality in the mature relationship between Bette and Pippa who are also around the same age and have the same passionate interests than to give in to a happily ever after fairytale that would bring that storyline to a crashing boring halt.
Laurel Holloman’s real life art career will really dictate what happens to the Bette/Tina storyline. If you’ve seen her videos on her art you’ll learn that’s where her real life passion lies. I am more in awe of her work as an artist than her portrayal of a fictional character. The importance of her artwork will far outlast her acting career. The woman is an incredibly talented artist.

Y'all can fall for this foolishness, but I'm not falling for the cliffhanger. This time Bette will move on from Tina. I think this will be the closure talk they never had. As much as I dislike Tina and don't want to see her no where near Bette, this need to happen. In my opinion this should have happened at the beginning of the episode because my girl, Pippa, is at the CAC on her big night all alone. I'm hoping for a Season 3, and they pick up where they left off so we can see Bette did make it to the showing...late, but still made it. Bette is happy with Pippa and that's who she should be with because it's the only thing that makes sense. I don't want the same old Bette and Tina story. There's nothing there for them. Season 3, I want to see lot more of Bette and Pippa together. Hopefully, Pippa will be able to encourage Bette to visit her mother. Those of us that support Pibette have to make noise like the tibette fans did to encourage the show-runner to bring Vanessa Williams back. Also, Jennifer Beals is one of the Exec-Producers of the show.

Where do we make this noise though? When you go on their social pages especially IG they do not show Pippa and Bette pics or scenes. I think because the #Tibette fans act like Behive in the comments. I think the only scene they posted was when they just met outside Pippa’s art studio and that was weeks ago. There have been so many scenes of them since then but nothing on their feed. 😒

It's pretty mean of the writers to bait the whole Bette and Tina thing through this show imo. I've never been a die hard Tibette fan, but why even have Laurel come back to this show in her limited availability to just stomp on this ship even more? I find it disrespectful to the fans of the couple who watched the ups and downs of their relationship for 6 years. This show was obviously always going to bring in new fans that never saw the OG show and they won't have any interest in Bette and Tina's relationship.
I think it was just really poorly done. Bette was not going to admit to Tina she would still choose her with Carrie in earshot of it all. She was going to move on completely. Now do we have to wait the inevitable 1 year, at least, to see that, after all the drama, Bette and Tina are still over? Just seems pointless and a major bait for Tibette fans to stick with the show longer.
I think it was kinda cheesy of the writers to do this to us TiBette fans as well, just teasing us. And you're right, I think many of the TiBette fans did watch the original L, and we watched the changes and maturity these characters went through, hoping that they would finally get it together. When the show was over, we were led to believe the characters were moving forward, supposedly in a good way, in their relationship. Instead, the characters are brought back in a negative role, DIVORCED and more drama (old and new). Very disappointing and damaging!

She knew bette was in a relationship with pippa and saw bette intimately kiss pippa right in front of her face and hours later she asked bette if she was still in love with her. People don't change. Tina and bette always got along better as co Parents. Their relationship was always toxic. Tina left bette 3 times, once for a man. No true lesbian like bette's character would keep taking tina back after that. The writers are not good at their job because so much things doesn't make sense. How come tina and Carrie were never in a sex scene. Tina and Carrie are like just friends and not even close friends.
I don’t get Tibette as going on into old age. With passing time Bette and Tina are two different people. Tina is always hurtful to Bette as much as.Bette hurt her. The night she told Bette she was going to marry Carrie, Bette became totally unglued in front of her and Tina sat there clueless and unfazed. In fact, Tina is pretty clueless in general. Carrie is coming unglued all over with insecurities and again Tina missed the boat. What woman or man, for that matter, would want this shallow immature person for a lover, let alone a wife?

We had our happy ending after waiting six years good and bad for the staple couple of the show and then they took it away… And now they’ve written them toxic towards each other totally at times and made Tina into the bad one totally… Which she is not… As one of thousands of Tibette fans if they get their season three they need to put them back together like they were… they have been through good and bad together they were working everything out like you said they left to get married they were moving to New York everything was going good and then the writers who have screwed up everything took it away… There is no way that they would have gotten divorced at that point and also there is no way that Tina would not have gone to Kits funeral… No way at all… This writing is like a soap opera, it’s on relatable and ridiculous… I personally know people , as well as all the comments I have gotten on my posts that there are thousands of people that are not going to even watch this anymore if it comes back and they do not put them back together again very quickly… We did not wait six years and keep the show going so that the staple couple of the show Finally get together and then break them up again..
I know there is some fans that do not want them together and that’s fine but if they don’t want to lose thousands of fans that have watched since day one..then they will put them back together again because they are going to lose thousands of fans and they know it… When you have a show runner who is 30 years old and only wants to do a storyline for the way she wants it she’s going to end up with a failed show… It’s already heading in that direction and although there are tons of Dani and Gigi fans it will not be enough to keep the show going..
They are struggling now with all the fans they have and hoping they still get a season three because the reviews have been so terrible… Because the writing is all over the place, no story is ever finished properly they go from one thing to another… This isn’t a show only for 20-year-olds… That was not who their fan base was 17 years..

Please stop writing this show as if it were an episode of As The Stomach Turns.
Bette has been in love with Pippa’s art all her adult life.
Bette followed Pippa’s career and changed her college major because of Pippa’s art work.
Bette said she would cut out her heart to work with her.
Bette got Pippa a major museum showing after a 30 yr absence.
Pippa organized a major protest and took down the Núñez name to give Bette her legacy.
If you (writers) now have her not show up at Pippa’s first museum showing after 30yrs because of Toxic Tina showing up, well then you (writers) lack any creativity and imagination, not to mention a total disservice to the fan base.

I think they crafted the episode to make us think Bette is going to choose Tina but if you pay close attention you will get the sense that Bette was trying to have closure with Tina and kept getting interrupted. I think she has strong feelings for Pippa and will end up with her at the CAC by the end of the night to the disdain of the Tibette fans. They are gonna have to deal with it.
Pippa will be in Season 3.

I really want to see Pipa dumps/discards Bette the way that Bette lovebombs then discards everyone else - including Tina (she cheated on Tina repeatedly). Karma must be in place. It would be satisfying to see.

Well I don’t think Bette will, I think that is what they want us to think and even all her friends think the same but I don’t. I think this time Bette has moved on, she is gonna tell Tina that she like/love Pippa and maybe also tell her how a joke she is. Every time she expect Bette to run back to her and this time they aren’t young anymore. Bette wants a life partner and I think she had realised that Tina doesn’t really know what she wants.
I think everyone is wrong toward what Bette is thinking and she wanted to tell this to Tina but never got the chance. I think there will be a turn this time, the writers only wants us to think that they will be together again. Well that is my thinking anyway.
But I can say for a fact that the last episode was not that good, they just left us to hang in there and what if they don’t get the contract for session 3!!! I don’t like this new version, it is not that exciting as it was for the first version. It is us going round in circle.

I think there’s a time difference btw those scenes but they only gonna show that next season. Bette will be there for Pippa. It would be totally unrealistic since Bette was the one responsible to bring her back to spotlight after so many years. Pippa didn’t even wanted. Only if Bette was lying the whole time and we know she’s always true abt her feelings.
I said the exact same thing on another post. They crafted the scene to seem like the two things are happening simultaneously. I am holding on to Bette is who she sees when she turned around.

Anyone who knows OG Tina and Bette …as in OG L WORD…not this new generation thing, should know that these two people belong together. They are not perfect at all. But there is no universe out there where they don’t end up together.

Pippa trusted what Bette was promising about her art and was disappointed when Bette threatened to pull her work. That's a true reaction. However they worked together and got it done. I see more growth in Bette with Pippa than all of the years with Tina. Let's see where the writers take us.
