Much better video than the previous attempt. We can watch your presentation and see & hear the details required for engine start. This is a good learning video and I thank you very much...well done!
A few things I'm wondering about. 1)How do you go about unlocking the nose wheel? Even just using differential braking, the gear should caster, but it remains locked straight ahead. (Very difficult to taxi.) 2)I have just learned tonight how to successfully land this guy. (Don't know if it's right or a glitch in the programming, but on the flare, I would cut the throttle and the plane would go into a roll. You can watch the ailerons go to an uncommanded deflection.) Now I land power on using the speed brakes to slow for the flare and cut power on the ground, which brings me back to question one. How do you steer down the runway? Has anyone else had these problems? (SSW's F-84 has a habit of failing the hydraulic pumps for no reason. The sims from these guys seem a little glitchy, but look and fly great....Most of the time.)
Because of the blown flap systems, when you cut the throttle, you lose the flaps so you roll. I think in a real F104, you kept throttles on until your wheels were on the ground to keep the blown flap air on the wing area.
The 104 had to have power on until it was on the ground (~85% if memory serves). If power was retarded prior to the mains touching, bleed air to the blown flap (BLC) system had a tendency to come off asymmetrically resulting in an almost immediate (and terrifying) roll.
Where did you find the scenery here with the "carrellone" or external APU vehicle ? Very interesting, let me know please ! Many thanks in advance for your reply !
Bellissimo video!!!!!! Una cosa ma nella procedura di accensione a me la spia inertial navigation rimane accesa... ho cercato nel manuale ma non ne vengo a capo.... mi puoi consigliare?? Grazie.

I'm having trouble activating the INS System - could you give me a light on that? Thanks in advance!
