I play this with my wife and friends. We all suck so I changed the game stats to help us, like resource gathering, faster taming and other fun stuff. After watching your videos I realized that even with the buffs we still sucked hahaha.

3:17 update: there is another tab at the top of the screen, the taming tracker, from this screen you can see the taming percent, taming effectiveness, health, and food of the dino you are trying to tame, as well as track them so you can see where your new friend is at all times until fully tamed

When you got to the knockout tames part I remembered when I ran out of stone for my slingshot when trying to knockout a trike so I ran up to its side and started to just beat on it with a club

Why I haven't thought about item caches is beyond me. I've been playing this game for years, I'm not a pro, but I'm far from a noob. Embarrassed feels over here, lolol.
I kinda wish ark would make a map that's like extinction with its urban sci fi aspect, but also unlocks all tekgrams based on levels. That could be a really interesting way to play the game. I think a map like that would be a huge hit. Ideally tho a map that isn't too crazy on performance... extinction is still really laggy for me.

I wanna try ark on pc, on ps4 I never owned it but in my play time it was a glitch nightmare. On my phone the lag was worse and it frequently crashed. So I go on a new map to begin the nightmare and oh boy I hope it isn't like this on pc because there is no chance of even having fun. 27 deaths in and I van barley see the green in the level bar while the only crafting options are torches and pickaxes. Staying still is death, running for your life is eventually death, fighting is death. It would have taken me to 5 solid hours of playtime to level up once maybe not. The game was fun on ps4 using creative but if it's truly like that on all platforms then I doubt the existence of a all survival map. With how incredibly underpowered I was it would have taken 100 players moving in a pack all ganging up on small dinos trying to level up to even get a wooden foundation. Would of been fine if there wasn't a random location respawn for the guarentee of not having anything ever. So basically ark on mobile is just dying on the beach and the game crashing for hours

hey, hello, i am new to the game. Can anyone tell me if its really safe to move along the shore/continental line with my mobile base (raft) without being attacked by that giant sea creature that can destroy my raft with two hits (forgot the creature name). Help please.
@@pterafier hey thanks for the advice. I ll follow your content to learn more. I will use a scout raft or a decoy raft first to explore the area. I plan on going north of the islands (i am currently at south spawn) without crossing the land, only by water. So a bit worried because all my loot is inside the mobile base.
This can't be seriously for beginners. Cause I'm 5 mins into this and still don't know what to do once I spawn in. I'm cold and hungry and injured. What do I do? Just running around trying to punch fish for food now....

Vids are great. Funny how crystal isles makes ark super easy with the whole passive taming wyverns thing so fighting and gathering is easier and safer

I believe it does! I don't wanna guarantee that 'cause i haven't tested it on survivors, but it absolutely does for dinos :)
