- www.woodlands.co.uk Want to do a soil test in your forest? How to do a Soil Test without a Soil Testing Kit.
Many of us look at the trees and foliage in our woods and forget about the soil. Professor Julian Evans shows us what to look for, and how to do a simple and easy soil test without any special equipment. Now there's no need for a soil testing kit. - Навчання та стиль
I'm currently studying soil science as part of an Arboriculture qualification and this video is a fantastic representation of the theory. Thank you for posting!
Felt like I was learning from a teacher back in the old days where technology has yet to develop. Nice
Thank you so much Sir... I Love the softness in your voice! It helped me to retain the information so much better. God Bless. :)
Thank you for the explanation and instruction. Simply simple and to the point.
What a well spoken man!
Thank you for this informative video!
he's like the david attenborough of soil.
thanks very mucha for this very good piece of information, do you know if it is possible to test the ph without using test kits? I know that the type of weed growing in the soil can tell if it acidic...Many thanks
Beautiful! Thank you.
great explanation, thanks

"Welcome, to Jurassic Park."
thank you sir
Good info.
You a great man !
Where can I find this "soil"?
how do you test the PH....lick it...???
Thanks so much :-)
Nice presentation and it answered my soil questions.
However, I'd still like to know if clay, silt and sand content differ greatly if samples say were taken from different locations within the same testing areas? What variety and changes are there over specific distances? Many thanks!
I don't think anyone can answer that for you. Look around. Does it look the same? Feel the same? Do equal samples fulled soaked get fully dry in the same time frame? Do the samples pass his test the same way from each location?.
If you started the video at 4:04 with the volume turned off what would you think he was talking about?
Turns out it was just fox scat the whole time!
Felt like I was listening to Bob Ross.
I would offer the word "turd" rather than "sausage." However, one thing missing from the video is what in the world we do with this information.
this isn't jim lahey?!
and now you think you know how the sausageman is made.
2:33 we begin by playing with turds
Good video except that, for most people, your use of the word "testing" is a misnomer: Most of us consider soil testing to refer to chemical tests for pH or fertility...that is, testing for the chemical, not the physical, properties of the soil.
Is there somewhere these people go to learn to talk like that? he sounds like the same person who talks about the snakes of Sumatra, or the Iron Age bog people.
Lol what a joke
4:06 Ewwww he's holding a piece of cat shit
