Troubles and challenges in music? Be a trumpet player. You go where the paycheck exists. However, I played trumpet all the while having a "regular" career. What does that afford? Options! Love music, all genres. I have played in all of them. My all time favorite? Funk. That is just me. At 65, now I do what I want. I play where and when I want. Life gets fun later!!!
Right on! I used to listen to Tower of Power, Average White Band, and other Funk bands all the time. Back in the day one of my bands featured a two piece horn section, Trombone and Sax. We could have used YOU!
