I just finished this arc. I'm in tears, right now. I love musicals, already, but I wasn't expecting my favorite music song to come from "One Piece." This composer really ate both the revive revive fruit and the soul soul fruit and thought no one would notice lol. Wow!
Pudding was such a beautifully written character, she was like a rollecoaster, from liking her to hating her to loving her. And she was funny too, i swear i laughed everytime when she was on screen with Sanji and Bege's wife. I feel so bad for Pudding, hopefully they will marry each other when its all set and done.
literally the two are already married after kissing in this episode. even though the marriage was fake. but due to unexpected things such as the bride not being mentally prepared. but with the kiss in this episode they legally became husband and wife.

this is a song that is beautiful but the meaning of it in context of whole cake arc is you accomplished the mission but people who helped those mission will suffer slowly and slowly and when the main catasthrope arrives a lot of people that helped on mission will die. it is like a sarcastic melody for me. but the lyrics yeah daaamn.

This was an incredible sequence by toei! These are the instances where the anime does it better than the manga! Even though the manga is probably more enjoyable to read, small moments like this when the directing is good and the music is fire you get this! The impending doom and hype you get from this scene is indescribable, one of the best arc closing ever! The way this song was also sampled throughout the episode was brilliant, the moment with katakuri and branch with puddings crying scene (the voice acting just makes it so much more bittersweet). Even though the animation may not be the best, it is still an extremely enjoyable moment where it uses everything else; showing that visuals do not make the scene, the storytelling does. It’s even more melancholic because there isn’t the usual feast and celebration but a small relief that the crew had gone safely. The opening scene as well when it used this song in the background when carrot and sanji are comforting eachother! Overral, I just find this an extremely good song.
The story of Big Mom does feel like it could be adapted into a musical. Who Big Mom was and how she turned out is very similar to old plays of tragic characters who raise and fall due to their own flaws and vices

this arc ending is perfect. it shows just how strong a yonkou is in terms of connection, man power and territory. it gave the SHPs a reality check that they can't go against an emperor by themselves, and at the end they had to run away. simply perfect

Acabo de ver el episodio 877 y apareció está canción, la amo, la buscaré en Deezer, no sé si se escribió para la serie pero es realmente buena, al principio me imaginé a Brook o Soul King cantando con una sirena de los gioying pero no, igual hubiera sido genial, es de mis favoritas junto a We Are, la canción del opening inicial.

this arc ending is perfect. it shows just how strong a yonkou is in terms of connection, man power and territory. it gave the SHPs a reality check that they can't go against an emperor by themselves, and at the end they had to run away. simply perfect
