you should try apple pie in the jaffle iron with puff pastry.
cook the apples with fireball whiskey... drooling...

      That sounds good!
Apples in jaffle irons need to come with a warning, they stay nuclear hot forever!

While watching you battle the WIND, I was smiling at your spy comment. A few years ago I was stuck at home for a few weeks due to illness. Playing spy with myself I wrote down random license plates as they parked in our street. Turns out one of those plates led to an arrest for break and entering. Police thought I was mad when I mentioned I was playing spy by myself because I was so bored. This is made all the more crazy because I'm over 50 years old. Have a great day.

the wind would be tricky to factor in to cooking through too. Mint looking sausage rolls and definitely on my list to cook now. Cheers (and hahaha @ the travel buddy comment too)

If you aren’t a fan of fiddling with your sausage, then put them on the pastry half frozen & slice it length ways. No need to remove the skin.
I sprinkle with stuffing mix or fine breadcrumbs, inside & out. And only use water instead of an egg, because I can’t be bothered & I don’t really see much difference tbh.
Never tried a rissole mix, thanks for the idea! Definitely tom sauce & black sesame seeds if you feel a bit fancy.

I didn’t think the wind would effect the temperature that much but it must do. Why did you keep the plastic on the bottom of the sheets until you’d rolled them up? I’ve made similar but plain sausages and added the spices and herbs. Rissoles are a great idea. Much easier than the ones I made. Thanks Harry.

Good Italian pork sausages from a decent butcher (saw on Andy Cooks) gives a good balance of course grind, quality seasoned/ filling, ease of execution. You've got all the Captain Planet things covered in this vid: earth (prickes), fire, WIND, water (in the beer), and heart (love for Fred). 😉😂

For the record, I hate saussage rolls, always have. The commercial ones always seem to be made of the most awful saussage meat and they all taste the same. I am watching this to see if there is any way to make these awful things edible. I think you are on to something by using rissoles. Glad to see the 5 second rule being followed :)
