this format makes me miss the occasional Spodcast. grats on 15 years folks. 14 years ago rutskarn/milkshakefan loudly ate raisin bran while mumbles admonished him
Congrats on 15 years. Here's to 15 years more..? Random comments: * Rutskarn mentioned Freelance Astronauts; that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. * Related to the conversation about Guild Wars 1, Path of Exile (1) has a lot of interesting complex synergies, though it's firmly an ARPG instead of an MMO. * The conversation about LARPs was really interesting, those are some fascinating concepts.
There's sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they don't go anywhere. ...What is this world coming to? Why is it just getting worse all the time?
Mass Effect 1 was cool mostly for the setting and main story, otherwise it was pretty blah by Bioware standards. Mass Effect 2 was mostly the companions being great and Vanguard charging being a predecessor to Doom 2016 "always move forwards" gameplay. Mass Effect 3 was.. fine.
@Jekyllstein_Gray for me it's that it lacks any real identity other than "we have to wrap this all up now" and their bizarrely low tier main quest writing getting therefore shoved in the front seat. The actual mission content and party members are good, the combat is good, everything's kind of good, but it all feels like "more 2", and then the main quest shoves something really dumb in your face again, way more than 2 did (which did it at the start and the end and not much else). It's odd, that series feels like they boxed themselves in by having a driving central conflict and they would have been way more successful as just being the day to day job of a terrifyingly unregulated spy cop. Maybe instead we'd just be complaining about it being like Ubisofts "another Far Cry / Assassin's Creed" problem if they did, though.
Hold on, you can play a card on the same turn as picking it up? Since when is that a thing? Have I been playing this game wrong for years? Anyway, congrats on 15 years!
More than any game I can think of, even Monopoly, UNO's rules are infamously ignored. This is because it's simple enough, similar enough to an existing folk game (Crazy 8s), and played from a young enough age that very few people feel the need to read the instructions.
According to the steam community, "Numbers Card: 0 ~ 9 points those depend on the face value Draw, Skip, or Reverse card: 20 points each Wild and Wild Draw 4 card: 50 points each" I sure hope this already gets answered later in the video so I look dumb!

53:24 We love to see the skill on display here
President trump has now signed an executive order renaming uno to one.
There's sex and death and human grime in monochrome for one thin dime and at least the trains all run on time but they don't go anywhere.

Two special guests! Not only is Milkshake373 here , but also head-loving wrestler Al Snow!
It's a secret Spoilercast! Just what I always wanted!
I pitched a raw Spodcast to the crew, and Josh countered with UNO, which we realized was the same thing.
DeepSeek? ChatGPT? No, the real threat to humanity is the Ubisoft Uno AI!
Congratulations on 15 years! To help your egos, I've been using Spoiler Warning to help me sleep for years...
One more year and SpoilerWarning is allowed to buy beer in my home country
Nightmare Kart Bunlith? Cool!
I would love actual play from rhis team. The oneshots ruts did for the podcast were great
I have a memory of Mumbles and Josh playing Guild Wars 1 during a stream. Was that a fever dream?

I will die on the hill that Mass Effect 3 was the best one.

@@Jekyllstein_Gray what is it that you like about Mass Effect if you think ME3 was the best one? Like, genuinely, I'm curious.

I'm more shocked by the fact that it turns out Draw2 cards ALSO skip the player's turn just like Skip does...
Josh, you put ice in your whiskey? How dare!
Does Jibar stand by his endorsement of Kane & Lynch?

Two hours?! You guys spoil me.
Here's to 15 more!
