You don’t have to paint the ceiling. Just tape a level line under the plaster curve. It gives it a classy look and adds elevation to the ceiling and room. What I LOVED about the podcast was at a time when we could not go visit with neighbors and just randomly chat, I could listen to you guys, like a friend or neighbor coming over to just visit. No agenda. More life is happening now and work goes on so the break is very understandable.

Wasn't a waste of time to me. Literally no one posts anymore because "every day is the same". The way I see it, we're all having the same problem being stuck in groundhogs day, and the only thing keeping any of us sane is seeing someone else's day. We're all just missing human interaction right now, whether it's boring or not.

As my number one podcast on Spotify in the year 2020, I’m definitely a little heartbroken. However, we were warned from the beginning this wasn’t forever. I respect and understand the decision but I’ll miss, what felt like, hanging out with you guys on Monday’s.

Pro tip for the ceiling/wall painting if you want a different ceiling colour. You can creat your own wall and separation by using wall tape and create a definite separation where you see fit. I have a curved wall and basically I started the ceiling separation at the start of the curve !!

PAINT DEBACLE! - Hey Claudia - You guys should go with the DARK PINK. Here's why. After you asked for advice in your last video discussing the paints, I spent a good deal of time picturing what each room could be - depending on which shade. I think the light pinks will look like a baby girl's room or an old lady's. Really, I don't see anything in between. The dark pink is cool. The room would have artsy vibes or you can make it look like a room meant to be on a vineyard... I see lots of greenery and gold. Anyway, my solution. Get a nice CROWN MOLDING - you can leave the ceiling white AND you can add more texture/character to the room.

Guys don’t use better help. Some of the “professionals” there are not actually professionals.Some of the reviews in their site is obviously fake and the ones that aren’t are horrifying. If you read their contract they basically say that they are not responsible for things going wrong and that they are not a replacement for therapy (which is what they make it sound like it is). Be careful
I've been using better help for over a year and I have had a wonderful experience.

Don’t paint the ceiling!! It’ll close the room in and make it feel smaller than it already is. Tape it off and just do the walls, you can always paint the ceiling later on if you still don’t like it.

This is just me being a snob with a literature degree, but I hate when bookshelves are organized by color. It makes no sense to me. I have to do it by genre, time period, or author because there's no way I'll remember the color of a book when I want to go back to it.

Claudia is such a motivator. I am a procrastinator and her videos always inspire me to actually get stuff done. And they’re fun and relaxing to watch, too. ❤️
I’m very lazy for a long walks (feels like a time waster when slow walking and I can’t run), but when I listen to a new podcast episode I was able to walk 10 kilometres and was happy and laughing all the way. So for me personally your podcast was very important in order to get walking again. Yes, there’s lots of other podcasts, but you can’t make a boring 10km walk with them... unfortunately.
Another aspect is that we are stuck and miss good social time with friends, so again the spontaneous episodes and listen to you guys brought the light to a very depressing and challenging times.
I even started to run my own podcasts to stay connected with my friend, but it died after 4 episodes so we do understand how difficult it is and time consuming and we absolutely appreciate your effort and would love to support you as I am sure your episodes saved good few lives and many souls last year.
I would love to support your podcast on patreon rather then looking for a professional help on this advertised online help.

hey Claudia! First of all, I love you guys so much and seeing your content is honestly a highlight of my week.
I totally understand and respect your decision to press pause on the podcast for now, (and I really hope this doesn't come off as selfish), but I really miss it, and as much as I love your vlogs, it's truly just not the same. Trust me when I say that I don't care if you're talking about the weather, some new toy Peaches destroyed, or even the color of your walls, it's still great content that was so chill and so much fun. I don't know if this is just me, but it always felt like I was right there on the couch with you and Finneas, it's such a vibe. i totally get that you guys feel that its simply repeating conversations from your week, but for listeners, it's our first time hearing about it. I don't want you guys to drive yourselves crazy over the repetition and monotony of all that's going on right now, and I definitely can understand that the structure of once a week can be too much. However, I was hoping that maybe whenever you have a really interesting conversation or when something fun happens during the week, can you please consider returning to the podcast every once in a while? over quarantine I've really turned to podcasts as a form of stress relief, as strange as this sounds hahah

Because the walls in guest room don’t have a defined edge you could do some detailing (like a patterned edge or scalloped) to create a border so you do not have to paint the ceiling if you don’t want to

For the guest room do an accent wall with the darker shade as it will compliment the bathroom once painted as well, and then it wont be so dark, but you are still seeing that lovely color!! I also love you
I think most of the comment section agrees that most of us really looked forward to the podcast episodes every week. I understand where you are coming from with the reasons to stop, all of us do bc we are all going through the same thing, thats particularly why the podcast was so relatable. Listening to u guys felt like being with friends.
Like most of the comments say, we would love/be entertained by watching you do anything, we love you as a person, the content, the editing, your voice, your smile. Maybe vlog more? If you love it so much.
It sort of feels like you are shutting us out honestly. Last year with the podcast it really felt like you were opening up to us, engaging with your audience, caring. Now we only have the videos to look forward to, which are very short, sponsored every single time and posted only once a week. Just spitting facts here. No shade no hate whatsoever maybe I just got used to other creators that post more often idk 😔

i don’t think it’s fair what you said in your last paragraph, most youtubers post once a week and the ones that don’t, well they don’t have content and editing like claudia... she edits herself and it takes a lot of time to edit the way she does, her videos aren’t short they’re always 10+ minutes and i personally don’t care if they are sponsored or not, this is her job and i know she would post her weekly vlog even without a sponsor, unlike other youtubers who are inconsistent and post once every 2 or 4 weeks just for a sponsorship
she cares a lot about her content and her audience and if she doesn’t want to go on with the podcast it’s because of that, because she didn’t think it was good and she only wants to give us the best
so even tho she may be wrong bc we all loved and miss the podcast, she is not doing it to shut us out but because she cares
@@JosefaTejeda I agree with you when it comes to the podcast, if it felt forced and they felt like they had nothing to say every time it would not be enjoyable anyway. Maybe thats happening with UA-cam as well, she feels like she has nothing to film or something (10 min videos are short for me lol). I think that her content is top notch and her editing is amazing. I just hope to see more of it in the future, as well as more raw content where we get more talking bits/stories like on the podcast.

For the guest room it would be a cool idea to do which ever pink wall you like then do a stick on wallpaper for the ceiling it will give it an edgy chic feel. You have higher rounded ceilings so it would look dope

Paint the bottom 3-4 feet of the walls the dusty pink. Keep things light but add the colour. I did it with my old room and it's actually pretty easy to tape off a level line around the room.

About the guest room: it looks amaaaaazing. And I love the dark pink as well, but you know that you don't have to paint the ceiling. For example in my flat I have my walls painted, but there is always 10cm of whitte left by the ceiling. It makes the walls look much higher and I really like how it looks. So just so you know, you can leave the ceiling white and paint until like 10cm under the crease. That way the colour wouldn't be overwhelming
You could add some thin wood trim to your ceiling and make that separation between wall and ceiling! My walls are curved just like that and the trim has allowed me to keep the ceiling a separate color from the rest of the walls
