People aren't playing these games for the platinum trophy itself, they do it cause that's the only possible way to get to level 999 on PlayStation. Sony needs to address the actual issue, not the symptoms
I've played my fair share of "easy platinum" games. Not The Jumping types of games. Actual games that were built with the purpose of providing fun and entertainment. But at the same time the trophies were easier to obtain. A good example for me is the FMV movie style games by Wales Interactive. Essentially you're watching a movie and pick specific options or dialogue to influence the story. You get a bit of replay value with multiple endings and an easy trophy list along the way.
That is totally understandable. I would recommend MediEvil, Resident Evil 3 or Heavenly Bodies for a quick fun experience. All are less than 20 hours :)
Yeah but you don’t have to stoop to this level. Anything by the studio Ratalaika Games are fairly easy and short but require some actual input, hence why I wouldn’t call them shovelware. They are pretty fun tbf! Even better than that are short indie games like: Burly Men At Sea What Remains of Edith Finch The Gardens Between Tacoma Ether One Concrete Genie Each of these 6 games can be platinumed in a single evening (Concrete Genie could take you a couple of hours longer) and they are brilliant games. You don’t have to play shitty games to get some easy plats.

Your not sigma
Great video, I was wondering about this topic today and found your channel.

The nice thing about Xbox is you can refund the game if you played less then 2 hours so 💀
I remember when people called Hannah Montana platinum cheap, if only they knew haha.
They are eliminating them from the psn store
Literally a day after I uploaded this video, Sony clamped down on shovelware. Coincidence? I think NOT! Haha
They said they were but I'm seeing more than I ever.
I dont even bother with the new release section anymore
They're still there lol
Pretty gross
I can’t stand people who defend this nonsense
A real gamer will play what they want to play
These aren't games
@@lankylemon8555 same could be said about the yakuza series😂
Except shovelware games aren't games
a real gamer plays a real game. not a "game" for the sake of a platinum trophy.
@@EpicGames-rb7vd idiotic take if you think the game from the video is the same as the yakuza series.
Anybody can play anything they want
but they don't "play" it.
Yeah but I don't have 40 hours to put into one game cuz I got other stuff I got to get done

I only buy games on sales, especially these trash shovelware games. Worth the platinum when they drop as low as 10¢
