Andrea Laforest and Willie Williams, I really hope you both are alright. A breakup or a breakdown of a marriage is very painful. When I was going through my was-band (ex husband) cheating on me, Babyface had released "never keeping secrets" and I was so hurt. I was in a really bad place and we had two children. I thought he loved me and cared about "us" but he didn't. I'm not here to bash men, that's not my intention, because women can put men in a very vulnerable place. This is my experience as a woman in love (loving someone and being in love with someone are two different things) with her man, her husband and he ripped my heart out. It's been 15 years since that time and by the way, a divorce is like experiencing a death, and my mother passed away in October and the divorce was final in August. My mother would try to give me good health conversation that would encourage and strengthen a child and I didn't want to listen and at the time I didn't but now I cherish and hold on to everything she said to me. I'm in a good place now and he has apologized for what he did and how he treated me. I have forgiven him but the pain was so deep that I haven't forgotten. You both will make it, it seems hard now but you'll make it. Give yourselves time to heal or you'll take the pain and hurt from that relationship into another and that's excess baggage. Your future is not the blame for your past but your past can guide you into a better future.
