Hello. This is the eighteenth session of ‘Dr. Tomato Protocol’.
What will be the cure rate when treated with Dr. Tomato Protocol?
Today I will introduce the estimated numbers.
What is the criterion for 'cure rate' here?
It is not a 'slight improvement', but a recovery to 'normal range'.
In other words, we say 'treated' when it is confirmed that the patient has recovered to the normal range through all tests.
And it can be said as 'optimal outcome' in the sense of 'recovering to a state where there is no hindrance to daily life'.
This means 'the state of full recovery from autism'.
Before talking about the overall estimate,
what objective data do I currently have?
Raw data of a paper published in 2022.
For the past 2-3 years, I have been creating data while working on my paper.
Some inference can be made through the raw data used at this time.
Although, when we talk about the current data later, we will talk about a much higher cure rate than the raw data used in the current paper.
The data presented in the paper are also results of significant improvements.
However, the current cure rate is much higher.
    Why?
Two or three years ago, since it was before the Tomato Protocol was completed, diet plans wernt properly executed.
It was a mixture of those who did GFCF and those who did not, and most of them proceeded without nutritional therapy.
Currently, the cure rate has risen significantly as the diet and nutritional therapy are done very strictly.
In addition, the existing paper data is very weak because it includes some children with epilepsy or intellectual disabilities due to failure in selecting subjects.
Even taking this into account, it shows a significant level of cure rate.
▶ For example, if you look at it based on CARS?
At the start of treatment, the average score was 34.6.
Its a significant level of autism.
However, after 6 months, the average score was 28.6.
Within 6 months, it fell to the average level, normal category.
When its based on 30 points.
In this way, 70% of kids reached a score of less than 30.
If you look only at the CARS standard?
In terms of being out of the disabled category, it can be said that 70% of the kids have recovered to become normal.
To put it bluntly, a CARS score of 30 means the child has some severe problems.
if you set the standard as 'being able to live a normal life'?
I think it is very accurate to discriminate based on a CARS score of 25.
So if you look at it based on 25 points?
About 33% of kids reached scores below 25.
Children who correspond to this 33%, in fact, can be said to have recovered to the 'normal category'.
If you look at it this way, you can say that 33% of the kids were treated to the functionally normal range at 6 months of treatment.
▶ If you look at the ABC test, it shows a much higher cure rate.
The ABC test classifies a score of 68 or higher as autism, and a score between 53 and 67 as suspicious of autism.
A score of less than 53 is classified as not autistic.
This is a measure of 'problematic behavior'.
It is to distinguish whether it is autism or not through problematic behavior.
ABC has significantly better treatment outcomes than CARS.
If you look at it in terms of ABC?
At the start of treatment, the mean score was 69.3.
    A significant level of autism.
However, after 6 months, it drops to 38 points.
Thats very low for even non-autistic standards.
If you follow the Tomato protocol?
As the child’s sensory stability is achieved, the level of problematic behavior drops sharply in the beginning.
This is why ABC results are much more stable than C.......
