I was not paying that $225 for these. I normally don’t ever complain about the retail price but I just have a feeling these gonna go on sale soon so the opportunity for under retail presented itself a lot sooner lol. Sizes 7.5 - 11.5 is available on their site now.

I don’t think there was any thought when it came to using the Nike lace locks . They probably just had extras that they wanted to get rid of so they used them.
