Both songs written by M. Safka in 1971.
Brand New Key - UK No. 4 - Jan 1st. 1972
The Nickel Song - Uncharted in UK
These versions by Tony (Guitar & Vocals) & Katie (Vocals) Jan. 26th 2024.
Due to technical problems the first time we uploaded this video, we have taken down that version and replaced it with this one.

Thankyou Susan. You're really very kind. Have you ever heard The Wurzels take on "Brand New Key"?(The combined harvester song). Melanie, evidently, liked it so I think it's safe to mention it! Here in Britain it was a No. 1 in 1976 and we all have it in our heads when we hear Melanie's version!! Yeah, She was very special and will be sorely missed. RIP Melanie.
