Dacia Sandero
New Dacia Sandero exudes a strong personality and an impression of robustness. Its overall proportions have been redesigned to perpetuate the equation of its success: a contained exterior size and even greater roominess, for even greater versatility. The overall line is more fluid thanks to a more sloping windshield, a lower roofline and a radio antenna placed at the rear. The ground clearance is unchanged, but with its wider tracks and flush wheels, New Sandero feels lower, more planted on its sills.
The interior takes a leap forward in every respect. The all-new dashboard becomes even more ergonomic and features new materials for a more modern and qualitative overall ambience that is also found on the doors and upholstery.
A more ergonomic driving position thanks to a new seat design and multiple seat and steering wheel adjustments for greater comfort. Dacia is also offering a new Media Control system that allows users to manage radio, telecommunications and navigation directly on their smartphone, which is mounted on a special bracket at the top of the dashboard. This system, fitted on the first trim levels, is completed by the Media Display and Media Nav, this time with a specific screen on the center console.
With its shoulders and marked wheel arches, the All-new Sandero exudes a strong personality and
sturdiness. Nevertheless, the overall lines are smoother, with a more sloping windscreen, a lower
roof (by 1 cm) and flowing roofline with the radio aerial at the end. Ground clearance is unchanged
(at 133 mm loaded), and yet the All-new Sandero feels lower and more grounded with wider tracks
and flush-mounted wheels.
Skoda Fabia
This is the first ŠKODA FABIA to be based on Volkswagen Group’s modular MQB-A0 platform and it outperforms its predecessors in every aspect but with virtually no change in weight. It is 111 mm longer, now measuring 4,108 mm, also making it the first FABIA to exceed the four-metre mark. At 2,564 mm, its wheelbase has gained 94 mm, while the width of the fourth generation has increased by 48 mm to 1,780 mm. The greater exterior dimensions result in even more passenger space. ŠKODA has also increased the FABIA’s boot capacity by 50 l (to 380 l) - the predecessor’s was already the largest in the segment. With the rear seats folded down, the capacity rises to 1,190 l.
Copper-coloured and grey contrasting stitching, as well as decorative features, bring new colour accents to the FABIA’s interior. The new LED ambient lighting (standard in Style) allows the driver to illuminate the decorative trim on the dashboard in white or red. The centre console and front door handles can also be lit up; furthermore, the ambient lighting includes LED reading lights in the front and rear.
The FABIA’s aerodynamics have predominantly been developed using what is known as CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations. During the development phase of approximately three and a half years, the ŠKODA engineers computed more than 3,000 of these simulations. ŠKODA has set a new record in the small car segment by reducing the drag coefficient (cd) to 0.28 - the previous generation was 0.32.
ŠKODA has installed cooling shutters in the front bumper’s lower air inlet - the first time this technology has been used in this vehicle segment. To improve aerodynamics, actively adjustable slats automatically close when there is little need for cooling. This results in fuel savings of up to 0.2 l per 100 km when travelling at a constant speed of 120 km/h, which means that the new FABIA emits up to five grams less CO2 for every kilometre driven with the shutters closed. To allow for a high level of cooling or to accommodate short stops, the system opens the shutters so the maximum amount of air can flow in.
The housings of the electrically adjustable and heated wing mirrors, which for the first time in the FABIA dim automatically on the driver’s side and fold electrically as an option, are smaller than in the predecessor. This improves the car’s aerodynamics, as do the Proxima and Procyon alloy wheels, which also make their FABIA debut and feature special, aerodynamically optimised plastic trims. The wheel options include 14-inch and 15-inch steel wheels, as well as nine different alloys ranging from 15 to 18 inches.

Well, you compared the full-option versions of each car. And the price difference is huge, 20000 $, which proves that, in the last 10-12 years, Skoda has moved far away, by price, from the Low-Cost and Smart-Buy segments. So, with the price of a full-option Skoda, I can buy almost 2.50 full-option Sandero. :-o At the basic level, the difference is much smaller, a Dacia Sandero starts from 9000 euros and a Skoda Fabia starts from 15175 euros. So, at 15000 euros listprice, I prefer a full-options Dacia Sandero instead of a basic Skoda Fabia. With the Rabla programme and other discounts, I'll buy it for under 12000 euros. And the Dacia cars are more reliable and economical (as fuel consumption, taxes, repairing costs, etc.) than the Skoda cars. So, I'll go with Sandero.

Yes the Sandero might be more value for money overall but there is some bias towards the Sandero in this video. For example for only 55 dollars you can upgrade the fuel capacity to 50l for the skoda. And I just bought a 150 hp Skoda Fabia 2022 with everything you really need and 2-3 extras for 23000 dollars. That´s still 8000 dollars more than the Sandero but I can guarantee that the skoda will satisfy you more than the Sandero ever could.

Buy 2 sanderos. Leave one in the garage for posh day like visiting relatives church etc. Use the other for taking out the dogs or kids. Keep one clean the other dirty the Skoda might be better built but they both do the same job start stop and drive.

To be honest, if I were to consider either of these cars, it would be because of the price. Dacia would win hands down, as it is MUCH cheaper than the Skoda, while also being just as reliable if not more as well as cheaper to run. If I really want to spend a lot of money, I wouldn't consider either of them.

I was just saying what I would pick out of the two subcompact hatchbacks.
But the thing is that despite the Sandero and Fabia both being subcompact hatchbacks, the Sandero’s starting price is less than the Fabia.
I had a choice between Fabia Ambition 1.0TSI and Sandero Comfort TCe 100, I picked the Sandero and saved about 3500€

Comparative not in the same conditions. Skoda Fabia Full Equipe with all extras with sandero Confort without any extra.
About the enviorement lighting it's not the same in both cars, in case of sandero all details are showed with hard lighting (middle of day) and in case of Skoda you use the end day lighting, so the perseption of details is too diferent and accentuates skoda's perception of better quality.
Maybe it will be more realistic compare the both cars in a similar price range that it's possible (basic Fabia with Sandero full equip), so that in case of doubt of a potential buyer between the both cars it would be the most logical options to consider.
For future car comparations in my opinion it will be best make it in same enviormental conditions.

Sandero este mai spațioasă la interior pt pasagerii spate. Are ampatamentul mai mare. Are motorul turbo care e net superior celui aspirat de pe Fabia, plus preț mai bun. Sandero câștiga detașat, în clasa asta 1cm la picioare contează enorm.
Fabia are portbagaj mai mare, 5 stele la siguranță însă interior mai mic. Prețul e cu 1500k mai mare dacă pui motor turbo pe Fabia se duce la 2500+ deci un sfert enorm pt categoria lor de preț de aprox 10k

Skoda Fabia TSI / 70 kW / 95 к.c., 5M Ambitious cost 35 610 BGN = 18 201,32 EUR.
All basic nothing more. So... Pls don't make videos like that.
Yesterday i tested dacia sander stepway 90hp CVT transmission. Not so bad. Tomorrow I'll test Skoda Fabia. 95hp and 110ph manual gear box. I can tell you the difference between these two cars.
