I’m a Conestoga student, I’m currently in college.. some of the students fail, who don’t attend classes, cheat with tools like ChatGPT, don’t do their assignments or quizzes, they get them done by others… finally comeback and cry saying that college is failing students!!
I live in Kitchener…what I have seen some of them cheat but they may fail or may not fail.While some of them genuine students they been failed forcefully by conestoga for fees ….You can’t just deny that conestoga failing students for fees…If you make policy that 2nd attempt of course will be free , students do not need to pay fees for repeat courses & if you fail 2 nd attempt student will terminate…I bet you you will see how many students will fail…Apart from this college is full of Indian students whose culture is to pull out the other’s students leg ..Mentality of every student is I should get everything and other students need to suffer..they do not believe in unity they just throw stones on each other as what they do in India..😂 If you check their policy you will understand, If any international students who completed all courses but unable to get internship then student will not get diploma degree, He/ She need to study again different course again😂😂😂
Ho Indian there is difference between school, college and university. In school teachers teach you but in college and university mostly you supposed to do things by your own with books means independent studies. Then you will say why then I am paying tuition fee? The reason you are paying tuition fee is because you get the degree or diploma from recognized institution means you are paying for their name. Got it? When you go and apply for a job then you can say I have degree or diploma from such and such college or university. The same youtube videos if you watch at home and become very good in the field but when you apply for the job then you won't get it because you don't have diploma or degree that is why.
Conestoga is a good college if anyone choose skill tread courses. I am in Conestoga College and I choose welding stream which easy way to get PR as compared to other.
I'm sad to hear that students are struggling rn. But i think it depends from course to course. For me, i had a good experience at the Doon campus. Yes, class times were odd and they packed a whole lot of curriculum in the duration of the course but we did have people from the industry give us assignments, I was able to graduate with high distinction and got hired by the business I made my capstone project for. So im surprised to hear how bad the situation is right now. :(
I would say it's totally depends on the course I did my one year course from conestoga and seneca and i would say conestoga was far better than seneca. The resources, professor technical help provide by conestoga was far far better than seneca for sure. I had a both the course in IT and I would highly recommend the course I took in conestoga to anyone wants pursue thay course. Network security
I am in a two year technical course in conestoga college and my experience is opposite of what she said. Labs, equipments, faculties (mostly) are good actually. I have seen professor giving extra lectures and assignments for those students who could not accumulate passing marks. Its sad every youtuber spreading negative news only. In market also Conestoga has a bad name and that too only because of students and because of that many good graduates facing problems getting field job after college. Get to the other side of story, conestoga doesn't have only business, management and supply chain related courses.
It really depends on the program, campus and professors. I did my GBM at the Conestoga brantford campus and it was really good. Most professors were so knowledgeable and helpful. I got so much insight and help from the professors.

I currently doing my second program in conestoga doon, so far it is the one of the best colleges in Ontario (far more better than soap box colleges around gta). Students do fail in class due to lack the skill set to do the assignment n quiz. Students will suffer in this college coz of thier strict academic integrity policy and its good for students. There is only diploma courses over here, so don't expect that u would get vast amount of knowledge as compared to bachelor's or master's. Professors are really good and experienced(not all of them). The only problem that u will struggle to get a job around here coz of huge load of international students over here.

M in Conestoga starting practical nursing from September. I have a good experience with pre health science course here. Teachers were amazing. But if you take shitty courses like project management or any unskilled course u won’t have a future.

Why canada, you can go to germany and other european countries if you can learn their language. Whats the point of wasting your career in diplomas like this. Most likely after you study a diploma u wont make enough points and end up coming back. Also cost of living and inflation is there.
If you are coming g to Canada for 3ws wealth whisky and White Women ( gori chokris) make sure you bring a minimum of 20, 000 Canadian dollars. Please do not dream of immigration ( if you are coming for NOT to study). Actually, Canada is saturated. Excessive number of DESIS, now. Only, if you can marry a CANADIAN kudi , you can stay back in KENADA ( your dream).
