I've just changed a 19 plate v60 for a 23 plate one as I'd fine round the clock in it. A v60 is just a shorter v90, virtually everything else is almost identical. The window clip for the ticket is factory. To switch your cruise on and off you press the middle button on the left pad of the steering wheel, you press left and right before pressing it to select the function.
I have one of these. 2019 D4 with everything optioned. Pilot assist works best with clear lane lines. The adaptive cruise also has a traffic mode so can crawl unassisted upto about 15mph. Glove compartment is chilled too, just pull the tab out. Another neat Volvo touch!
Oh yesss!! I got a 2016 V40 D4, it goes like stabbed rat, pretty much will give anything short of an M3 a good run for it’s money mid range , it’s an incredible overtaking machine.
Our 2016 v40 d4 is on 118k and a pain in backside, every month for the past 6 months something has gone wrong. this morning had the Aa out, due to a inlet manifold sensor being clogged up with soot. I've now gotta strip that and the egr off and clean it....I would expect it if it had done town mileages but it gets constant long runs.
@@stevenking2946sorry to hear it, I brought mine second hand and, it had the EGR cooler replaced at about 115k by the previous owner. It too had been used for long motorway runs, just as I do now. In the last 12 months I’ve only replaced tyres and done a service. MOT coming up soon and a knocking noise has developed, I’m guessing a ball joint or something. Will get it all sorted and hopefully not too expensive!
I have driven 740's and 940's with 500,000-1,000,000km on the clock. Original engines, gearboxes, (and with that plastic parking ticket-thingie too) etc. That was high mileage. This beauty is still a baby! 😄😃
Right click on the cruise control button, after you’ve set the speed. Sets the pilot assist. As long as you touch the steering wheel every 20 odd seconds ( or hang a weight to the wheel) it’ll drive itself and slow down/speed up in traffic all day long!
Quality car 100k it's barely run in. As long as it's got full Volvo history it won't be a problem. I've got a V40 of the same year with the same VEA engine and that's on 130k with full Volvo history, doesn't miss a beat.
My wife's 2016 v40 d4 Is a pain in the backside. 118k and for the passed six months, something has gone wrong every month. Now got a blocked egr and inlet manifold, It's not as if it does short runs to the shop either.
Amazing car, and now I want to own one lol. As long as it has been maintained nothing wrong with the mileage. Great video and content. So when are you, High Peak Autos, and Chops garage doing a cross-over challenge? 😍😂
Like the style of this version .Heated windscreen too? Looked at Volvo 6 months ago, but found the gear box really lazy (compared to DSG) and told adaptive CC not available. This though, I like a lot.
Surprised there aren't more V90s on the road as they make a more interesting alternative to the usual German options. It's also good to see an estate rather than the now ubiquitous SUV, and even after 6 years it still looks contemporary.
I'm in the process of buying one and the prices are really low for what you get, a sub 100K km, 2019 Volvo V90 CC will cost you about 34K €, but what worries me that they don't seem to sell at all. I've been looking at the same cars for months now and no one seems to buy them.
Really like these. The starter "dial" is a great feature. My X3 which was above your buying limit has gone - replaced by a Range Rover Sport because idiot 😂
Had an 06 xc70 until some idiot rear ended me at 75 mph (and I was going 40) and I slammed into the car in front of me. I walked away with no injuries. That’s why you buy a Volvo.
@@agnesf2659 Nope. The seat went horizontal and absorbed the energy of the impact. I walked away from it with little more than a couple of bruises. Car was totaled (bent frame, doors deformed, etc.) Bought another Volvo to replace it. :)
And access to the Polestar mod on the driving modes. I've had three/four remaps with varying success Audi 2.0Tdi was rubbish, wheelspin and black smoke, Merc 200cdi was good, Lexus IS220d was great, Volvo remapped my new XC60 D4 on its second annual Volvo service and turned it into a dog, I suspect the chances of Polestar dishing out a bad remap are not high.
100k? Even on a new Volvo it is a delivery milage. It is not a German car. It is not an old Volvo anymore. But still not a German car. 100k is nothing. My 2015 V60 CC is on roughly that and it feels brand new in most parts. But I still have a turbo 5 banger. They were on a different planet.
When people say high miles i remember my boss having a new Mondeo 2.5 v6 Si around 1980 he used to travel around the UK from Dorset to as far as Peterhead as we had vehicles based around the country. He took it to Ford for a recall around 9 months old and it had over 75,000 miles, it was on a 2yr lease. He never got it back and he got another car i had a 2 litre Mondeo and mine had 30,0000 around the same age they took it back at a year old.

Hang on a minute, what makes you think I do lots of research? 😂
Tell me you do at least some research, I refuse to believe it’s just an encyclopaedic knowledge! 😂
What you both have in common in bucket loads is that you both come across as honest and very likeable car sales people and enjoyable to watch.
I have had a V60 for three years now, before I got her I got bored and changed my car after a year. Absolutely the best all rounder I’ve had, love it!
I hope you did not sexual harassed "her". 😂😘
Super quiet, relliable, best engine and looks!
Love the minimalist swedish design and the Thor headlights! :D
High mileage at 102000? It's a Volvo mate that's still new xD
Box fresh with delivery miles 😅
Nope…. My 2016 xc90 d5 already has twin turbo , egr and many more replaced at around 100k km.

The v90 cc pro version is even better with stitched dash better drivers display & wheels add the sunroof & 360 cameras and it’s perfect

Far far cooler than a German car. Marvellous.
What’s cooler about it?
Just about everything.
