This is what the newest gaming technology sounded like to developers. It helped them REALLY expand their limits. I have a challenge for anyone reading: Think of an old retro track from the NES or any other fairly limited game system and try to think it with modern instruments that’d fit. That’s basically what COOL Mode Food Court is.
I think that the only reason this was a cool song was because it was able to be made using mostly synths and the composer didn't have to worry about a bunch of instrument samples and if they would sound organic or not. It was probably easy to make (in comparison)
To get Cool Mode you have to freestyle and do your best and once you do enter that mode spam every button on your controller. Fail 5 times and your gonna have to freestyle that's a challenge i want you to do.
