and here i thought my sunday afternoon couldn't get any better
Hi Jenna, I like how your videos are always so peaceful and meditative. I grew up in the finger lakes, and spending time outside in the Winter was always a reset. It helped me feel grounded. Not to mention the food you make over the fire looks like the best part. Take care.
couldn't agree more! sometimes you don't realize how much you needed it until you're out there haha. Finger lakes looks beautiful, I'd love to visit some day!
@@jennalexiskoHi yeah, the lakes in spring are really beautiful. I would definitely give you some tips and places to check out. Not to mention there are many vineyards and waterfalls. Watkins Glen near Corning is a very cool place to check out too. Ciao for now.
Jenna I love your videos! I’m originally from Calgary and am so inspired by your dedication to getting outside in the winter! I know many Calgarians wouldn’t dream of doing what you’re doing (also so inspirational that you’re camping alone too!)
Your channel is one of my new favorites! Thanks for doing what you do!
Blushing cause you came back for us 🤭

I found out about your channel recently and your videos have made me so so excited about being outside in nature, and hiking/biking again after about a year with an injury that’s kept me from those activities. I’m from Norway so it has motivated me to explore more of the beautiful nature that Norway has to offer. My dad and I have just planned on doing a famous 2 day bikepacking trip called “Rallarvegen” this summer!!my family and I did the short version of the trail when I was younger and it was beautiful, I absolutely recommend it if you’re ever in Norway! Thank you for your amazing content 🤍🤍🤍
Wow that makes me so happy to hear. and thank you! Best of luck on your trip, I’ll have to look into it! I’ve always wanted to see Norway!!
Hey Jenna, Just wanted to tell you that me and my mom love sitting down to watch your videos.
They motivate me and help me gain inspiration on travel as a young girl.
Keep doing what you are doing because we love you!
So glad you’re out doing what you like, AND that you’re sharing it with us, AND that you’re a great videographer, AND that I have the opportunity to watch before the ‘mansplaining’ starts 🤣.
Jenna! Your videos always brightens my day 🌞🦋🐞🌷
Im so so so greatful for all your videos right now. They are very much needed rn
Hi Jenna. This is my first time watching your channel and it is very, very enjoyable.
suggestion: bring two plastic shopping bags and put one of your boots in each bag. Place them in the bottom of your sleeping bag. They will be nice and warm in the morning.
I’m looking forward to your next video.
Hey Jenna!
Thanks for another dope video. I honestly get super excited to see what you've been up to lol even all these years after i first came across your channel. Your food made me sooo hungry and hearing your thoughts on your trips and on nature is one of the things I'm grateful for :)
I love watching your videos, they bring me a sense of peace and wholeness🤍
Another amazing adventure! Thank you for bringing us along. I only recently found your channel and I binge watched every single video as fast as I could.
It’s only february and I’ve found the UA-cam channel of the year already!

Looks amazing and cold 😂 probably feels amazing eating out there like that
Hey Jenna! Your winter bushcraft vlog was epic! As a video editor who loves outdoor content, I was totally captivated by your adventure. The way you captured those wilderness moments was incredible. Would love to collaborate and help bring more of these awesome stories to life. Keep exploring and creating! 🏕🔥
Watching on my TV 🥹🙏🏾 Your videos really have me considering trying something new and going camping during the winter 🤞🏾
Great morning at Airsoft then another Jenna video what a Sunday 😁
Hell yeah 😎
I just discover your channel with the ice caves video and I litteraly LOVE IT !
Ayy finally someone on UA-cam who calls that lichen old man’s beard
Hey Jenna, I really enjoyed how you explained the clarity you felt being out in nature like that. I feel like that whenever I visit back home in Africa. I’d also wonder why I have to travel half away across the world, just to see what’s always right in front of me
Yay for a new video! I've never been this early. Liked and watching now
Such a curious thing to watch someone camp and feel better ...hoping to get a break in life and experience this kind of stuff but the rules and nature is so different in Europe. I think you should go all in with this ..uploading more material with nice views.
Thanks for this video. It looks like a very cozy location. I especially love seeing outdoor cooking, and that sense of being in solitude with nature, far from everyday stress!
As a suggestion, couldn't you attach the ridgeline to tree trunks? If you don't want to be below the branches, you could at least have one end tied to a tree and the other to one tripod. That way you wouldn't have to spend all that energy on the second tripod. Then again, it is of course also fun and good to practice techniques you've learned to make them stick.
I would agree that the trucker's hitch is very useful. There are many variations, and I wholeheartedly recommend learning one of the autoblocking ones, because depending on application, it can be tough to pinch it when tightening and then it's easy to lose tension.
You have a beautifully relaxing voice 😍
SHESSS BAACKKK 🎉❤ So happy to see a new video ❤
You just cut down tree beard! 😂
I just found your channel and I absolutely love it! ❤
Oh! My program is on.
I just discovered your channel and have subscribed. It's nice to find a woman out camping and bushcrafting, learning and exploring and not using her sexuality to get views. I appreciate you and your videos and am inspired to try more solo camping. Thank you!
Nice music 🎶🎶🎶
Good job

Hi Jenna! I just discovered your channel recently and I love your videos!! I want to get into bushcrafting and solo wilderness exploring but my fear is holding me back. How do you keep yourself prepared for the unknown? How did you learn what you know? Books, watching other videos, or is this just how you grew up? Would love to hear all about it ❤
Oh you can bring a plastic garbage bag to place your boots into and then into your sleeping bag if there is room.
I've only been subscribed for a short time now and i've watched all your videos, it's so inspiring to see. I'm wondering how you gained all your knowledge? Did you self study? I want to start camping as well but i'm still a bit scared to go by myself as a woman
Great editing on this video. How big is that backpack and how many continuous days of camping have you gotten out of it?
what do you use to film?
It would be cool if you did a get to know me video! I wonder what your ethnicity is? I feel like maybe you're native? Love your videos makes me inspired to do cool stuff like this in the future :)
100th upvote! 😁
21:21 who can explain, is it such a camera mode that it started moving a second before it was picked up?
I would love if you could advise me on what tech you use for your vids, cause yours might be the crisptiest and surreal ones of the nature I've seen on here ooooor at least what could be the best student / budget friendly equivalents to what you're filming with, thank youuu
Love your videos! I've been wanting to get outside so bad and as a female, seeing you get out, even after that one situation with that guy in the white truck you experienced (which literally gave me chills btw) is inspiring and shows that being outdoors is for women too! How do you find your spots to stay? Are you hiking through national parks and just finding a place or staying near campgrounds?
Thank you girl!! That was spooky but tbh experiences like that don’t happen very often. And if I’m doing something like this (bushcraft/cutting dead wood etc) I have to do it on public land (crown land in Canada, BLM land if you’re in the US) National parks are usually protected areas have strict rules about what resources you can use, like collecting firewood or even berries. Most only allow camping at specific sites that require booking or prepayment! Some public land areas have their own sets of rules as well so always double check and make sure you’re in an area where it is allowed and/or you have any paper work you might need to do stuff like this!
@@jennalexisko That's great advice, thank you!!
Hii jenna your video quality is so good can you please reveal which camera or gopro are you using
just curious what about forest animals?, dont they come after your food in the night, it being a open tent and all
@@doron.dsilva hey Doron! I always hang up my food in a tree at night to keep it safe from the animals 😁
Hi Jenna! Mind sharing your video gear?
when Jenna said she'll always come back for me 😭❤️
Hii, What camera do you use for your videos?? Everything looks great!
I have a random question, have you ever actually forgot your camera in a cute spot and kept hiking without it? If so, how long did it take you to realize? lol
HI Jenna, do you just use the folding thermarest pad to sleep on top? Is it good enough for insulation? Thanks for the video.
hey!! I use my inflatable thermarest that has an R-Value of like 6 or 7 I believe! that's my main insulation from the ground. The foldable/foam one is fine for me in the summer but In the winter it would be too cold! in temps like this I just use it to protect the bottom of my fancy pad and have something to sit on around camp!
also saw your comment about the boots, great idea!!
Nice vid! Whereabout were you for this one?
What camera equitment do you use?
Can I get one invite to these trips? 😊😊 got my own gear

What red knife is on your backpack?
I think it's a Fiskars knife.
@@cnguyen32 hey! It’s a morakniv bush craft knife :)
