Always happy to see a surprise monster train upload 😄 I really enjoy this challenge, though getting the right artifacts at the beginning is a bit of a nuisance
That is essentially my thought process for every achievement like this one--the puzzle achievements. I really enjoy figuring out how to possibly earn these achievements and often many aspects of their implementation, but there seems to always be some nuisance about them--whether that is hoping for RNG to throw you a very particular bone or equally annoying repetitive task required. At the end, I usually come away happy to have gone through the effort and happy to be done with it.
A good analysis to be sure and you did find an answer. This is a fun puzzle achievement because there is actually quite a few answers other than the one you went with, while relics is the most obvious solution you can also do it by purging cards from your deck in the final battle, if you have the permadeath mutator you could also do this without needing nearly as much rng. You can also use the railspike upgrades which give purge to a spell or monster. This achievement is one of my favorites because the silly story behind it. Back when we we're testing for the Wild Mutations update, which added a bunch of mutators including no champion, by chance someone ended with a 0 card deck, which in addition to being a funny run summary revealed a heretofore unknown bug where it horribly crashed the game. After the bug was fixed the achievement was added as a joke.
I immediately discarded the idea of purging cards in the final battle when I was thinking through this achievement because I thought that would require an insane amount of luck. Could you point me to a video in which someone does that? I'd love to see how my thoughts about the RNG required can be mitigated.
@@collectionconnoisseur Figured it'd be easy to find a video, but It's proven a little harder. I might have to come out of retirement and do it myself it seems

This really helped me thanks
Great!
