Kate is what people call an exception to the rule. She’s really not supposed to be there but in fashion there’s always one or two girls with minor things outside the standard that are allowed. Like Naomi even when she was at her skinniest is actually considered thick for runway modeling.
naomi was so out of place here. She was bringing 1990 drag queen realness when the aesthetic had obviously moved on to more of a minimalist, "real" vibe. Hilarious that she isn't self aware enough to look around her and notice this...
I have to agree. Around 1995-96 the twirling on the runway and diva-like walking ended in favor of a more serious, focused and simple walk. We've never looked back as the walk has only evolved slightly since then.
