So I am from the Netherlands and you don’t see any 60”s novas here, but I used to own a 63 4door original European Chevy 2 with a 194ci (3,2l) straight 6 from factory back when I was 20, got it from my dad. There is very little USA cars over here in NL so even with it being a 4door it still was cool as... and no 8 cilinder cars in 63 yet.

when we visited our friends in Haarlem I was really surprised to see they had a Ford in the driveway! I mean, it was a Fiesta so it was barely faster than the bicycles but wow an American car in the Netherlands!

Savage Jackstand Jimmy built his engine when he was 13. I was learning to change light bulbs at 13
I diagnosed my first broken rocker arm in a Oldsmobile 350 when I was 15, and I thought I was getting a head start. In my day that wasn't unusual though. You see a lot less of it these days and unfortunately that means a lot less people wrenching on cars. Awesome there are still parents that are getting their kinds involved in it though. Jackstands kids are going to turn out JUUUUUST fine :)

CLEETUS -- There is a sensor that us VW guys have been adding to the FuelTech systems to pull timing as the front end comes off the ground to help slow down wheelies and it works great -- It measures distance to ground -- I'm sure you can add it to the Holley setup...

Leroy is an excellent car no doubt..... but theres is just so much you can do on the H pattern and no more without breaking the transmissions constantly.....
Its much easier to go faster on a powerglide or a sequential and kinda less frustrating and time consuming. But Leroy is still loved and we all want to see that twin turbski skeleton again.
Make Leroy all-wheel drive.
Leroy has earned his break. The car has been through hell and back, and is enjoying a temporary retirement.

Totally stoked - my two favorite race drivers running the El Camino and Nova with that same bitching grey, color scheme. I look back at the old videos even from just a couple of years ago and this channel has blown up with where they have come.
You get the feeling of family with Cleetus McFarland racing, just like it was intended to be when it first started. Kudos to all the guys and gals that give us all so much entertainment.
