VERSION UPDATE 1.04.01: Drag got toned down a lot in this patch. Some are minor adjustments to unintended items (like b4 hitting grounded), but other bigger changes to moves that were simply doing too much. db3+4 now gives less advantage on hit and is riskier on block; running 2 gives less advantage on hit and does less dmg; FCdf1 gives less advantage on hit, and ch FCdf14 no longer knocks down. You'll still play Drag as outlined in the video, his powerful moves are just a little less powerful now. VERSION UPDATE 1.03.01: The only item that might have affect play is the uf1+2 grab now recovers a little slower. So this reduces its oki a little, but by no means a major power drop. VERSION UPDATE 1.02.01: Nothing changed that would affect the information in this video, but there was a slight nerf to FCdf14 in regards to it hitting grounded. Again, nothing that substantively changes what's said in the vid.
Nice video . I got a question . How do you do the tackle ? I know you have to do a string first but what actually inputs active the grab . Can’t find that anywhere
You'd have to clarify. There's no manual way to do it (by itself), so you have to do it from a string. For most, it's just 1+2. Example: b421+2. I think the heat smash (2+3 while meter is active) is the only one where you have to do db1+2 instead of just 1+2. Let me know if that's not what you're asking.
