I’m new to nails too picked it up as a hobby which lead to a passion as I’m almost an empty nester😢 I’m 2 days in to a major allergy reaction All or any advice is extremely welcomed to help or alleviate the symptoms. It’s absolute torture, my hand are on fire and the itching is uncontrollable 😣 I don’t have a clue what the allergy is from all I did on Friday is swathes. It’s so upsetting I don’t want to stop doing what I love. Now scared to touch anything. I don’t work on other people just myself, self taught. So great full to have found your video when I did as soon as you said allergy I knew I had to reach out. Blessings from England.
@CRAZYMOTHERBUTLER Thanks so much for being here 🥰 Allergies are TOUGH! Chances are pretty good that you have a Hema allergy, as that's the most common and in nearly every gel product. There are other chemical allergies as well, though. If you can't get into a Dr, quickly, Cortisol cream is your best bet over the counter. A Dr visit should be able to prescribe you with a stronger steroid cream. I have an instant reaction with any contact at all, so I am always gloved (10ml+) and use a barrier cream when working on nails. Make sure your arms are covered so they don't brush anything on your table. I have a dedicated nail working sweater so that I don't transfer anything after working. I also wear my hair back with a wrap as you never notice how often you brush your stray hairs away from the sides of your face and if anything is on your gloves, you've got transfer. You don't even have to SEE the polish for it to happen, it's the residue left behind. Allergy awareness is slowly starting to spread, and there are some great resources popping up. Websites, Facebook Groups, and even IG and Tik Tok have information now. Check out @Amberthenailwhisperer on IG

Why don’t you do a box give away so it makes room for your new products. I have noticed a lot of nail tech store a lot of stuff they don’t use. I’m the total opposite. Trends and application are always changing. Just a suggestion
It's funny you should say that ❤️ As much as the trends do change, they typically just come around again with a slightly different spin (sometimes not even different, lol) I'm always surprised by how a "NEW TREND" that gains so much popularity, is actually something that we were doing on nails, 5, 7, 11 years ago, lol. That being said, I do end up with near duplicate products on occasion, and they all end up going to my niece who works on nails as well and is just starting her supplies. 😊 I truly am a collector, though, and because I love mixed media and trying out every technique, I actually do use a bit of everything and wouldn't want to downsize. I'll just make more room for it 🤣🤣🤣
It's just a standard 3 Ring Binder and the plastic trading card inserts that I picked up at the Dollar Store. It's so cheap and effective. The card inserts can sometimes be tougher to find at dollarstores now that Pokémon Cards and such aren't as popular, but they can still be found easily on Amazon, just a bit more expensive than a buck, lol.
