@prolificmny83 No. I know some people like to have the red dot in front because of eye relief, but i haven't had any issues. @@foxtrot1724 It's very common for AR's to come with just one magazine. Part of it is cost savings, making any AR rifle or pistol more competitive by cutting costs where they can, and also in part because magazines are a customization option for many. Some people love PMAGS, while others prefer Army styled aluminum mags, yet others prefer different mags, while some just prefer what's cheapest. I myself prefer Lancer AWM mags (translucent, steel lipped ). The metal(Steel) lipped mags make it far easier to handload. This is why many prefer the aluminum mags too- cheap and easy to load. PMAGs tend to be tighter fitting, but not as easy to load. So, magazines do tend to be a user preference.. I do however agree that in many cases, yes, they should be including 3 mags with every handgun, pistol, and rifle.. In any shortage, generally there's two ways to buy; a little bit at a time locally, or in bulk online. I prefer in bulk online. When I consider my time wasted getting a few boxes of 20 rounds, plus fuel, online is far better ( buy once, cry once ) - but only in bulk..
