Thanks for the video. I have a 1983 total pickup ive been back and forth on what to do bc the original bed is absolutely wasted. I am gonna clean the frame and paint it with the roll on bedliner once the surface rust is off.
Hey been watching your Honda head gasket videos and going step by step has been very fun lol but I caint get the 3 bolts off my intake manifold I was wondering is there a way to pull the head off with the intake on it or if there is a way around it please reply back if you could please and thank you
Good job! It would have been a nice video too, if the camera wasn't shaking so much, I'm getting dizzy trying to watch it. Also those sharp fast moves, all axes blur during this time. Too close shots. Take these things into consideration next time you shoot. I give "Like", just for the effort!
I was really interested in watching this video but not so much anymore you missed so many steps you didn't show you should try to remembering to turn your recorder on if you're going to show how to build something you should show it from start to finish
Depends on what type. If it's just rubberized, it holds moisture to the metal and would eat up a frame, but the big thing was there was already rust there more than likely. It's best to clean the metal, etch it, and paint it. Have never had a problem with POR15 personally, and I have put that on some rusty junk over the years.
@@jacoblang2712 no it's not...........with the freakin' nosey gov't we have NOTHING is your own............we can't even use REGULAR NORMAL GAS CANS anymore, they have to be the gov't approved design which are so damn hard to use everybody changes the spout as soon as they buy it....for an extra added cost..... all thanks to our 2 bit know nothing know it all politicians.

Who says "wrong leveled" if you know anything about working with your hands and tools? What matters to me is that you left a douchebag comment on a simple ass video showing something they worked hard on to show others. So again, you seem like one of the pencil pushing office dorks who drives a big black shiny F250 and wouldn't even move furniture in it "so it doesn't get straaaaatched"
Must be so nice to do all that work with everything so easily acessible
Great video, thanks for sharing. Would be interested to see how the tailgate works out if you decide to make one.
This is the best I have seen so far, thanks a lot.

Nice build bro.
Pretty cool project 👍👍
Good job bub. looks nice
I thought you said you were going to have an access panel so you could get to the gas tank etc.?
Just take up the boards over top if you need to.
came out good
Nice job
I’m very curious as to how much this project ended up costing. I plan on doing the exact same thing to mine. Thanks for the tips.
I am glad you made this video and posted it on UA-cam. A big thank you.
good job thank you for sharing
look good bro

Did you get your PhD? What was the topic? I'd love to read your dissertation. Love all your videos.
Has problems with rust and humidity...
Makes a wood bed.
Would have been much better if you wernt jumping the camera all over the place like a fuggin spass.
Mostly salt. Calcium doesnt dramatically affect wood like it does metal
Did u ever figure out the tail gate
Evidently not! 🤣
You could have sprayed the frame with hydrochloric acid and anywhere else you have rust to stop it. Cheers!
Do you have any beds for sale I have a 03 S10 standard cab
This wooden bed has got to be heavier than the metal one?
It's probably close enough to the same that it doesn't really matter.
Do you have one for sale
Reading S10 as ten dollars, lol.
Did you have oil in your steam lawnmower engine when you converted it to steam?
that looks awesome, can I buy it off of you? :p
Why'd you stop making vids?

Doing an aluminum one for mine
Btw not a s10 it’s a Sonoma same thing but Sonoma is GMC and s10 is chevy

you had some good ideas but,,,,,,,,,,WAY TOO MUCH TALKING,,,,,,,
Undercoat eats your frame that's what it did to my truck

Hello, do you have email address? Would like to discuss with you if you are interested in doing a pickup truck sliding bed project.
Careful driving with stuff...it's going to want to slide backwards
send it to the scrap heap and don't kill anyone thanks
Is that even legal lol
Never heard of it not being legal or having to get it inspected..its your truck your bed

It's ugly period 🤣
Looks like the hillbilly bed to me LMAO
No need to be a dick.
It’s twisted and wrong leveled.
You must be one of those guys who owns an F250 but does nothing with it besides drive to work
Alex Fuscellaro , sorry pal ; 05 Silverado 4x4 flatbed with a custom made pop up camper
@@DidierBan so then why does someone else's unleveled truck bed matter that much to you
